Chinese Roti Canai

One of the rare finds: Chinese made roti canai! Been eating this for more than a decade and the quality had remained consistent throughout. Personally am not a fan for dhal, but as my friend rightfully put: 'This place has fixed everything that can go wrong with a decent plate of roti canai and dhal.' If you're a visitor to this town, I strongly recommend for you to try out.

Fluffy and crispy Prata. Curry could be better though. Reasonable prices.

The stall is here along Jalan Peng Kai. Price is okay. A few tables are displayed. A family business. All are Chinese selling roti Prata. Indian likes here and buy roti Prata from them. One of the most important items Indians like to eat here may be is Chinese usually don't sell beef. Sometimes peak hour you may have to que. The boss or the father does the cooking. He could display a lot of tricks and all are amazing. The Indian bread or we called roti Prata is very good and savoury. I love it. Open every morning and close after all are sold. Usually close by 1pm. Don't choose Sunday and public holiday for the business is at its peak level. You can try the bread original flavour, or with egg added, or add egg with onions. The boss will beat the bread after baked to make it tastier and crispy. Drink will be supplied usually is herbs tea and drink that they have boiled. You can order coffee but from the nearby stall and the coffee shop near the stall. The road is one way and you have to park your car away from the Hawker Centre. Friday is free parking. Usually the customers are old friends and neighbours. Business is good. But most of the business is takeaway. They accept calls for the breads. Place is tidy and the workers are friendly and very helpful and polite. This bread is very good for breakfast and it's vegetarian. The curry is very nice and vegetarian. We can keep the Roti Prata until evening and it is still fresh. If the weather is cold then the bread will last to night and is still fresh. Best eat on the site because hot and crispy. And the curry is hot here. If you don't want curry then you can ask for sugar. Sometimes children don't want curry and want sugar. Prata bread is fine with sugar. The sugar is free. Homemade chilli sauce is available and is free. Best we bring a bag of tissue papers along. The chilli sauce is very nice. With 10 Malaysia Ringgit we can eat to stuffed. Disappointed as it was overly rated. Roti was thin but not crispy and the Roti has no proper shape at all. Although egg content seemed a lot but sometimes can feel the flour content.

The roti canai is ok but not their kari kacang. Taste not so bad but not so good. They use too much oil for the roti canai.They take advantage of the peoples who make them famous by charging rm1.30 for a roadside roti canai. In many part of Kelang valley, roadside hawker roti canai cost only rm1.00 and most shop lot restaurant at rm 1.20. So i think they take advantages of their customers.

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, roti canai are a delight to eat every time. This round flatbread is mainly made by adding ghee to the dough and then flying it and stretching it. They are served with dhal and sambal. Here are suitable for vegan.
