โ โ โ โ โ Disappointed with the quality of chok here. The porridge is not smooth and the fried intestines has this bit of sweetness to it.. (it shouldnโt be sweet). No drinks in the shop and place is not bright.
A bit difficult to find with faded signboard and waze gave wrong location.

โ โ โ โ โ My favourite place for chee cheong zok. They sell from morning till finish at about lunch time. Go earlier to ensure you can savour the porridge. There are also options of century egg porridge and peanut porridge. Currently not open for dine-in, customers who want to dine in and order and do that at the coffee shop next door.

โ โ โ โ โ Some says it is the best PORRIDGE JOINT in Penang and Butterworth too.
They serve tasty porridge aka congee, only 3 selection of porridges which are 'Chee Cheong Cheok' (Intestine Porridge), 'Pee Tan Cheok' (Century Eggs Porridge) and 'Tor Tau Cheok' (Peanut Porridge). With one optional on condiments which is Fish Floss.
The most popular is the Intestine Porridge then come the Century Egg Porridge which have bits of pork.
The extra condiment of Fish Floss is crunchy and without the fishy smell. If you love to eat fish then this Cruchy Fish Floss will go well with your congee.
Small joint and limited tables, the setting is suitable for 3-4 pax per table only.
