★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a gold (category I till IV) policy holder of Medident I was told most of the treatment including wisdom tooth removal surgery is fully covered with panel clinics.
Walk-in to the clinic, did x-ray diagnosis which was different but not covered by the Medident policy due to the more advanced nature of. Fair enough, paid for the scan, 120, before extra charge for paying with credit card. Get consultation from the doctor and advices. Made sure my policy could still cover my removal surgery for next visit.
Then made appointment for a wisdom tooth removal. Was told upfront that I will still have to pay for remainder of the cost as Medident will only cover to a certain limit, their cost quoted me for one upper wisdom tooth removal: 1.4k. Made call to Medident, they insist my policy is fully covered. Pass the phone to the front desk saying clinic have to charge at the cost which was agreed with Medident, and afterwards Medident made call to the person in charge. Few minutes later I was told that they have to cancel my appointment.
So I paid for an x-ray scan that doesn't solve my problem.
