Located in this once backwater of the capital city, Chuan Kee has earned its stripes in the business. Providing customers with down-to-earth flavours at reasonable pricings. Growing peak hour diners are a testament to the popularity of this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local chinese food joint, popular spot for family dinner. We ordered deep fried grass carp fish, stir fried mixed vegetables, Hakka yam pork.
Generally not bad, there's AC, services were quick enough. Food were too salty across the board, somehow. Likely won't come back.
Can get real crowded especially on weekends. Roadside parking available, park at your own risk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Original Hakka dishes in KL. Must try when near this area, very generous big portion with a very reasonable price. Mostly old timers will know this Hakka restaurant. Try to be there earlier for lunch around 12 noon before the crowd sets in at 1pm. Comfortable aircond place with local Hakka friendly and speedy service from the owner and staff. Highly recommended.

You can find some authentic Hakka cuisines such as Yam Pork Belly, Salty Fish Pork Belly Hot Pot and etc. The food has very rich taste but overall is good. The price is consider reasonable at the current situation. Do come early to avoid long queue. Parking could be a problem.
