★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard this from my private hire (Grab) driver when I on the way to Bukit Kledang. Good Portuguese egg tart (RM1.8/each) and kaya puff (RM1.5/each). They offer both the pandan kaya and the normal kaya variations.
Both the egg tart custard and the kaya puff filling is soft yet the pastry is flaky and still holds on its own.
The store keeper also shared that kaya puff is to be taken at room temperature. Something new I learnt.
They also offer some other bread food, but I didn't try them.
Good spot to come by after a hike at Bukit Kledang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Portuguese egg tarts in Ipoh, must go early & expect a long queue. Usually sold out before 12pm. Kaya puffs also famous too.

If you stay around the area or happen to visit someone there and wanted to have some dessert e.g. portugese tarts, yes, by all means, try it. If you have to make your way there specially for the tarts, then don't waste your petrol and time.
Verdict:
We rate this food as normal and good for the people staying around the vicinity and wish to have some decent dessert.
If you have to make time to find the place or travel more than 20 minutes (by Ipoh standard) then no need.
