β β β β β Beautiful, magnificent and peaceful Catholic church, one of the oldest churches in Penang, with friendly and welcoming congregation. There is always a large number of people attending weekend Mass. The homilies given by Monsignor Michael Cheah are really profound and moving. The Latin choir is really professional. The development works of the church mean it is now more comfortable and modern than ever before. The church itself is air-conditioned and the pews have recently been changed to traditional, more comfortable wooden benches. A cry room is available for infants and small children. There is a large activity centre with conference rooms and a big hall for rent to be used for a myriad of activities. The church is located well within a stone's throw of the city centre and is close to many food outlets, Adventist Hospital, and Gurney Plaza mall.
