★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms and buildings are all rundown with water faucets leaking. Hope CSR can rectify them, back to glory,like in the 90s or before PKP. The Front Office Staff are superb.They contributed to my return journey to CSR

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay.... Clean room and spacious....nice swimming pool for the kids to enjoy. Only hiccup was the pool quite far from the room... Need to travel by car..... And the break fast was so so with slow refill... But overall nice place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last time, this was my favourite stay in Sungai Petani since usually it came with various offers. After MCO, I think the room need more improvement. The room is dusty since maybe it is not occupied some time ago. Regarding to the pool, they don't provide their own towel and we have to bring our room or personal towel instead. The person in charge of the pool is not knowledgable and used his excuse as a guy from Penang to avoid answering questions. The service at the counter is ok. One thing to be addressed here is safety. Cars are speeding in the resort compound at night. This should be taken note by the management before anything bad happened in the resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 18hole golf course, resort style. Not meant to be a difficult course. The 2nd hole was interesting par 5 with water guarding the green. A par 3 uphill was another interesting layout although it is a straight shot. The rest of the course layout is quite straight forward. Certain fairways can be a bit tight, but in general a large fairway with a smaller green. The setbacks are the amount of wild hogs digging up the fairway. Greens speeds are not consistent hence beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chalets are nice but premises look rundown. Badly in need of proper landscaping. Service so so only. Guess hotel is facing severe staff shortage. Breakfast spread pretty awful. Fortunately they serve freshly made omelette etc. We were there for a wedding & the lunch served (Indian dishes) was good, with most of the dishes prepared by Chef Saravanan. Thumbs up to the chef!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overnight at this resort. Lobby is a bit dull. Check-in is ok process. Keep in mind this is an old resort but well maintained. Room is spacious, basic amenities are okay & functioning except weird-sound air conditioned. Overall okay stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The resort is in need of a deep clean. The staff are fantastic; they're pleasant, helpful and attentive. I must commend them. However, it's apparent that the resort is understaffed.
The sheets in our bed were stained and the breakfast meal was, to put it mildly, subpar.
