β β β β β Since my 3rd trimester I started prenatal yoga with Cocoon Yoga. Carol is a very attentive instructor. The breathing techniques and poses specifically for pregnant women helped me a lot to strengthen my body and get prepared for birth.

β β β β β Location is strangic. Yoga instructors are experienced & do post according to individual flexibilit . Felt no stress at all. Studio is clean and comfort. My girls and I enjoy the yoga session at Cocoon Yoga. Their "Happy Kids" program is wonderful. It helps kids understand themselves more and how to relax in this busy world ??β₯οΈ

β β β β β In early April 2020, I went through a period where I had severe insomnia. Three weeks passed and I slept only 1-3 hours per night. It was (no question) the worst time of my life. I had severe debilitating muscle spasms that kept me awake all night long. I tried all sorts of things to treat my inability to fall asleep. I drank chamomile tea, I tried breathing exercises thru YouTube guide, and even read extremely boring books. None of it worked. I still lay in bed in chronic pain unable to soothe myself to sleep. I even gone to seek for Psychist treatment, and with anxiety pills and sleeping pills. Over the course of 3 weeks in on medications, I developed extreme headaches and body aches, it was definitely the side effect of the medications.
I began to actively seek out a more permanent solution as to what to do if insomnia ever reared its ugly head. Thankfully, my best friend Jacqueline, who recommended me to Carol, the CO founder of Cocoon Yoga to explore in Yoga Sleep Therapy & Meditation. Without hesitation, I signed up for personal class with Carol.
Carol talked about a deep meditative practice which guided me thru the basic of Baby Breath breathing exercise. I'd never heard the word before, but she defined it as "the heart of yoga." Insomnia, she went on to say, is not an illness, but rather a symptom of something going on beneath the surface, with consistency of home practices of yoga stretching and meditation will definitely help a person to feel better and sleep better at night too.
With just 2 months of classes, I have managed to wean off all sleeping medications. I am truly honoured and thankful to Carol for teaching and guidance to my insomnia recovery.

β β β β β I started taking Carol's online classes after the lockdown began. My family had a cranky wife & Mama becauseΒ having two young children and working full-time from homeΒ was turning me into a big hairy sort of stressΒ ball! Carol's classes take my mind off negative thoughts, including work, and allow me to have more fun with kids instead of being irritable all the time. I highly recommend her classes to anyone who wants to reduce the stress level or is struggling to juggle life - to focus on yourself and be present in the moment for just an hour during her class.

β β β β β This is my first time trying Yoga and I am loving it. We started from the basic breathing techniques to synchronizing breathing with movements. Although I felt tired after each class, I find my body is relaxed and my mind is more focus. I see happier things in my life.
The kids yoga is a charm. The kids learn to calm down, focus, love and respect, and listen to their body.
The instructors are awesome and the place is very comfortable. They offer a wide range of classes. I highly recommend this place !

β β β β β Beginner classes are fun and conducted by an experienced instructor. Studio is clean and has a relaxed ambience.
1 year update - Signing up for the Prana class was the best decision Iβve made. I started off with zero yoga experience and now attend the other classes confidently. Instructors and fellow yogis are friendly. There is certainly no pressure to perform any poses beyond what your body is capable of. Cocoon Yogaβs studio is my familyβs favorite weekend hangout place. My husband and I could have our βyoga dateβ while being assured our child is safe and enjoying her Kidβs Yoga in the next room. I highly recommend Cocoon Yoga as it provides a very different yoga experience. You will not regret attending your trial session.
