β β β β β Very poor communication from Crown. Their packers were total amateurs and wrapped items that could have been flat packed thus increasing the volume so much so that I needed to ship many items seperately as they wouldn't fit in the container. Totally screwed me on the cost to ship my consignment.

β β β β β I have used Crown on several occasions in various countries because they were professional and provided excellent service! However, Crown in KL has been extremely unprofessional, I am still waiting for a home survey which I had contacted them about last week and it was confirmed via email that they would be visiting, I waited for over an hour, maybe traffic was bad, when I called to ask where they were, they had no idea who I was and my contact was on vacation!

β β β β β On the onset, it looked like a reputable organization. I was asked to attend an interview. 1st interview done and was shortlisted. Scheduled 2nd interview and at the 11th hour was rescheduled and no apology given, knowing the facts that I had to drive 3.5 hours from Sitiawan Perak and had costs involved putting up a night in Kuala Lumpur. Completed the 2nd interview and was informed that there were 4 candidates which had also completed the interview and none were shortlisted. No feedback provided, no thank you note etc.. I feel for a reputable organization, they should have provided some updates to the shortlisted candidates. It would have been nice to know if we had any areas of development for candidates to improve or at least advising candidates that we may not have fitted in their organization. It had left such a bad taste and experience.

β β β β β Having used Crown Relocations from Australia to Malaysia - amazing service and professionalism and support.
So when I had a local move within Malaysia - a mere 30 minutes away mind you; I booked them without a second thought.
The sales team as usual was professional and on time. Dibs to Isnainy for doing a great job.
The rest went downhill from there. The team shows up one hour late; no apologies, nothing. I didnβt have much to move - 87 boxes and large furniture plus one removal and installation of whiteboard which was informed and booked ahead of time.
The installer says on day 1 heβs not free (WTH) and gets one of the guys there to take out the board. Installer calls on day 2 and says he will come another time at his convenience to install the whiteboard without checking if itβs okay with me or if Iβm available. Then why bother booking time with you in the first place? AHEAD OF TIME.
Manager on site was supposed to be Omar but some other dude appears at the end of Day 1 to walk around and inspect. Inspect what? Just showed up walked around for 3 minutes and went off.
Really bad experience this time.
