We asked for the set menu & waited around 5 to 7mins for the waiter to give us the menu. That alone i have this instinct to tell my wife lets find another restaurant downstairs but she is so hungry and a little upset coz the Vietnamese Restaurant across are closed early.
I ordered Chicken Katsu Set after waiting for 35mins they delivered the food. Didn’t expected the chicken was so small. The taste was blahh.. My poor wife was so hungry already my food is almost finished. She’s been waiting for her Shoyu Ramen Set.
Yey!!! After so many follow ups with the waiters her food came up exactly ONE HOUR of waiting.
Ohhh i also follow up for my miso soup.
When i try my soup and her soup. Man!!! Worst Ramen in KL! My wife just ate a little bit of the noodles and we stood and pay the bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More like Die-Tokyo would be an accurate name of the restaurant after dining here.
Lunch sets are miserable in size and portion. The reason the price is cheap is because the piece of food given is extremely tiny.
Service manager does not wear his mask properly and did not properly social-distance. Came too close to me for my level of comfort.
Food quality is below average. And it is overpriced.
Will not return and will not be surprised if it shuts down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waited almost an hour for sushi. Our appetisers came last. Sushi was somehow made with normal steamed rice and not Japanese rice. Although some menu items tasted good, the place is seriously understaffed and overpriced. Manager and staff were courteous but should have told us about the unacceptable long wait and if unable to serve us in reasonable time.

First, after order only say this don't have that don't have twice,then thiscase happened and never mentioned anything, you are specialist in Japanese food. Please respect your customer,.. lastly, ask us pay at counter but no card machine service. What the heck is happening? Going back to 1990? Sorry if I too serious here but really make me disappointed. Please upgrad and don't blame the Bank that card machine sucks, is your management problem.

Service is nice, seem like new staffs and always smile.Tried their sanma shioyaki and it tastes good and fresh.???unfortunately add-on items only allows 1 selection each. Looked at their menu, surprisingly a lot of variety with affordable price....definitely, comeback again to try their other menu??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious affordable sushi. The size of the sushi is larger than other shops. However, this shop seems to be understaffed. There were 2 waiter and one waitress who were running around to attend to the orders. Very polite waiter however.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Daitokyo is located on the top floor of MyTown at the corner that has a few Japanese restaurants, so competition is quite stiff.
We took the Combo Set for 2, which include a starter, one appetizer and two mains. It is quite a good value and the meals were a sizeable portion and tastes quite authentic and good too. The Manager was a friendly chap and gave us a free voucher for our next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sushi was so nice!!! Gyudon also very nicely simmered. I like how the chef put striations on the tuna that enhance the flavor. Will definitely come back again! Don't understand why people give so less star but when I went, the food was served quite fast within 20 minutes. Staff was polite and attentive too. They just need some time.
