Dandy Modern Food

Despite the immaculate service, the food is a bit of hit and miss. Take steak for example, the sear, the char is good but the grilling is not. I would call this a bit of a rush in servicing. Could have definitely from that. Otherwise, the drinks are good

Modern Mediterranean style cuisine. Spiced lamb soup as a starter hits the right spot with chunky lamb, roasted potatoes and carrots with a side of toasted bread. Dandy beef kebab with rice for main, kebab lacks of spices and tasted more like Chinese style loh bak instead however it is still juicy. Potatoes by the side is well cooked but poorly seasoned (too much salt). Dandy beef wrap comes with 3 pieces of wrap with salad by the side. Fresh vegetables pairing with meat and toasted wrap, it is a crowd pleaser. All in all, food tasted good however price point is of a higher end. 3.5 stars would be my rating for this place

Pretty looking food and that’s about it ? Taste wise I would say this is not Middle Eastern food. Staffs and chefs are not Middle Eastern as well. Ordered chicken kebab and chicken roll. Strong turmeric taste ? Bill came about rm85+ for just 2 dishes, 1 drink, and 1 dessert, Sorry not coming back

Fyi, this is not my 1st visit. I’ve been here since past 2-3 years. For this visit (15/03/2022), I’ve ordered : - Spaghetti Polpette (RM25) - Dandy Rib Eye (RM45) - Highly recommended - Caramel Macchiato Hot (RM12) - Lychee Iced Tea (RM13.50) The food & drink is awesome + yummy Never disappoint me, so thumbs up ?? Staffs : The waitress is so humble & always keep their smile on ? Thank you ladies

Tldr; A "modern" food restaurant with a wide selection of western, middle eastern food. Although their food looks nice, but the sad truth is the taste is nothing like the looks. It's surprisingly warm inside as well, to think of all the air conditioner it has installed, seems like they're not put into good use. Not recommended. Review: Ordered their screwpine chicken sandwich which had a "chef recommended" logo and a bowl of mushroom soup. To say the least, it is quite disappointing. For starters, the mushroom soup is served alongside with my sandwich, not before my meal, which is weird already. And the worst part is, although I can taste the mushroom chunks in the soup, but the soup itself is filled with the cream they used to decorate the soup. It doesn't even look good ! (See picture) Moreover, the slice of bread isn't crunchy, it does has some slight crunch to it but it's not enough. The flavour is very boring as well, it is overpowered by the butter and I don't even taste any garlic to it. And as a starter, the portion shouldn't be huge, the portion can feed 2 - 3 people comfortably and it's served as it's for one. A mistake in price tag and portion. As for the chicken sandwich, I have to commend the bread, it is well prepared but wasted due to the filling. The chicken is super salty to the point where saltiness is the predominant flavour. I can't taste anything else. The fresh vegetavles, tomato slices, the cheese etc, wasted trying to compensate the chicken. The chicken itslef is super dry as well, I can clearly taste each of the stripes of the chicken. Really bad. Service was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Environment is bright and you have a good view of the kitchen. But the air-conditioning is very bad when I visited (it was 6:30pm), I literally have to wipe my sweat when I'm eating in, not a good experience. Would not recommend to dine in here. Popular place for middle Eastern cuisine. Usually will order either a chicken wrap or a chicken kebab with rice. The passion fruit drink and iced vanilla/hazelnut latte are decent. Parking is plenty at Arena Curve.

Ordered for 3 of us. Only 1 order came at reasonable time. The other 2 took forever. Guess it's due to poor ordering system, since the table next to us, came later but received their orders first. Finally, our orders arrived after l requested to cancel orders. Nice deco, clean restaurant. Tastewise, just so so. Some of the kitchen staff look like interns from UITM. Price is expensive, considering the food quality. Beef was chewy, l had to spit them out

Nice welcome service and photography on menu, We ordered 2 main courses of wrap, a mushroom soup, cup of frappe and a cup of warm water. (We asked for rib eyes at first, but they said it's out of stock today, pasta has no olive to serve, we just follow what they have) Comment for soup: The mushroom soup served was very salty. Comment for meal: Fries were pre-fried, it's cold and soft when the plate is served on the table. The beef served is dark and completely overcooked. The staff just act like "yea, we know, so what?" And turned away like it's a common issue. Comment for service: My partner doesn't feel so well today, the moment I ordered warm water, the staff immediately turned into bad reaction to us. Like we owe you a cup of water? Come-on, it's not like we don't order anything from your restaurant? why should a consumer need to explain just because we care about our partners situation for just a cup of warm water? The staff came up and threw us the bill while we were still drinking the beverage. * Rude and worse ever in the area. * Even roadside hawker staff know how to respect their customers. Summary, food and service does not meet the cost of charged rate. Over-expected when we look at the menu and decorations.
