★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Desasiwa Restu , M01 and M02, is one of the many hostel that are provided by the accomodation department of universiti sains malaysia USM. Basically restu care divided into two blocks, M01 for the the male students while M02 for the female students. each block has 10 floors, with 4 wing section that can accomodate approximately a thousand students. each rooms can accomodate 2 persons. and each 4 rooms shares a bathroom with 2 showers and 2 toilets. the restu hostel has a quite weak telephone signal. so communication are quite dependent on the wifi connection. the car park at resto hostel are restricted for cars with USM stickers only, with exception to motorcycle. restu is located at the topmost hill of bukit gambier, meaning walking there can be exhausting. so USM has provide a bus coded E that enroute from the cafe restu bustop to m06 bustop. desa restu shares their cafe with desa saujana. the cafe has a lots of stalls that sells delicious variety of food, such as nasi campur, nasi ayam penyet, goreng goreng, western and desert, and pan cakes. there is also a convenient store located at the cafe. the rdesa restu and desa saujana office are located at the upstairs of cafe building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best memorable places for a Restu resident like me. Though I've always had problems with the toilet, the rooms are equipped with most of the essentials. One room can accommodate two residents. Pantries where free hot water, water vending machine (need to pay), iron and two washings machines with a dryer are available for each floor. The design of this place is in such way that it's quite open and windy. It's always breezy in the block.
