★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband has been suffering with chronic pancreatitis since May 2017 and was treated in Subang Jaya Medical Hospital by Dr. C K Ranjeev, Dr. Maylene and Dr. Krishnan. He was admitted more than 70 times but was never given a solution or treatment for his chronic pancreatitis. As of September 2020, my husband’s condition started to worsen and was very critical due to the pain which would make his BP increase to the extent of needing to be hospitalized in order to manage his pain but the only solution given by the hospital was to start him on morphine. He was being admitted every fortnightly due to the excruciating pain he experienced. He was then referred to Selayang Hospital by Dr. Krishnan as he has a team there which would have helped us to perform the Puestow procedure. He was admitted in Selayang Hospital for 5 days and the only treatment given to manage his pain was morphine. Unfortunately he was sent back home with no treatment nor operation. He once again started experiencing terrible pains and returned to Subang Jaya Medical Hospital but the doctors advised to wait for the “right time” to proceed with the Beger procedure in Selayang Hospital. It was truly heartbreaking to see my husband go from 75kgs to being only 55kgs in a matter of few months. With no solution or proper treatment given by Subang Jaya Medical Center, I started looking up online to find a better doctor that could provide him with the treatments he needed. While looking up online I came across Dr. Bong Jan Jin (General Surgery Hepatobiliary - Pancreatic Surgery, Robotic Surgery) from Sunway Medical Centre. We managed to fixed an appointment to visit him and within 2 weeks he had given us a solution which was to perform the Subtotal Pancreatectomy + Omentectomy + Splenectomy on my husband. The operation was held on 1st March 2021, it was a 7 hour long operation that had solved the extreme pain that my husband was suffering with for over 4 years. 3 months has past and my husband is the healthiest he has ever been in the last few years. He is starting to gain weight and is pain free. Therefore, I am writing this review, to hopefully help others find the solution they need. With this we will like to thank Dr. Bong Jan Jin for his wonderful treatment towards my husband. If you are a person experiencing pancreas, liver, gall bladder, etc problems please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Bong Jan Jin. Once again thank you Dr. Bong for being such an amazing doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so lucky to have Dr.Bong as my surgeon. I have undergone my gallbladder surgery one week ago. I was so worried that it will leave scars but then I was so surprised that my wounds are almost invisible.
Dr Bong is confident, professional and skillful doctor. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had Dav Vinci robotic surgery to remove my gallbladder due to an overgrown cyst on Feb. 25 by Dr Bong.
He is so skillful and experienced that there isn't much pain and I was able to go home the next day.
On the third day, I was able to accompanied my wife shopping and doing 8000 steps.
Furthermore, the incision are do small that you hardly notice them.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Dr Bong is a very competent and skillful doctor that the surgery went well with minimal day in ICU. Result of the specimen shows no cancerous that relief us so much. Thank you Dr Bong and the dedicated team for saving my husbands life.
