Dumba Bay Resort, Kampung Genting, Pulau Tioman.

The beach, decoration around the resort and view are nice. However, i cant give anything good but bad commentS about the room. The whole room: bed, furniture, walls, the floor, toilet and its door, air cond and also the lights all needed to be repaired or upgraded. The room is pretty dark as there are only two dim yellow lights (hence, the room looks pretty eerie). The ventilation is poor. Once you step into the room, you are welcomed with the musty smell. The floor is sticky. There are plenty of slits on both wooden wall and floor and so mosquitoes are able to fly into the room at night. Not just that, our air cond is not functioning well. Such hot condition even causes the mosquitoes to be much active. Our sleep was disturbed because of the mosquito's bites and its buzzing. I tried to use plug-in mosquito repellent and the effort 's futile. The only good thing about the toilet is the heater is still functioning. The toilet bowl cover needs to be changed! The stains cannot be washed away although I had tried to use ZIP to scrub it (Can you imagine how bad the condition is until we had to wash the toilet ourselves? I brought my scrub and toilet cleaning agent with me just in case ..and i m glad that i did). The room is not sound proof, so we need to control our volume when we talk. FYI, we could hear the guest next door snoring at night, the alarm ringing and so on. Overall, I still think that it is not worth to stay here although the staffs are friendly.

Awsome sunset view from room. But little bit far from jetty Kg.Genting about 10 mnte walk. If you want privacy and enjoy nature. This place really recommended.?

Very bad service from the staff, not well organized plan, as tickets ferry have full, the dont even informed customer about that and customer need to follow up by them self (nasib baik follow up, kalau tak, tak balik la dr pulau, easily cancel the activity due to not enough staff even we pay for it. Very bad room, not as in the picture (only display room is ok). No towel, shampoo and body soap provided, with some have wall have damage, dirty toilet and room.. Breakfast ok, but lunch is only nasi bungkus. Only the best thing is, the view to the sea.

Good location.. Just on sea shore.. Cheap acco.. On prime location..room Maintenance not good.. But can be ignored... Considering.. Staff and location.. I think best option for the price...

Even though d rooms were just basic n not that clean but d place was very nice n quiet. Their staff all very nice n friendly. The food was so good. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back

Pros: friendly staff/owner, food was ok, nice seaview from room Cons: Room was bad. Heater not working, toilet and rooms quite dirty, wooden ceilings eaten by termites
