★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible terrible horrible experience. I will never use them nor recommend anyone to use them. very unprofessional.
I used them to renovate my parents new place. They were late in delivery causing the whole move in process to be rushed and had to hire overtime workers to clean up etc, incurring extra costs. As an “apology”, they promised to install one additional small cabinet atop my washing machine - a promise they never delivered. My parents were actually told off when they reminded the “designer” of his promise.
Service was horrible. After the down payment, quite a few of my selected colours and material became “unavailable”. The designer was rude to my parents on numerous occasions. And then lamented he was stressed out as he was handling many projects - is that the customers problem??? Is that any excuse to be rude??
Quality is bad. Less than a year in, my shelves were all curved.
The designs were actually all thought of and given by me. I even had to give measurements for the “designer”. It’s like I had to pay and still do all the thinking n work myself. I’m not a designer by training. Just happened to have some common sense, which apparently they lacked.
Terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed. By all accounts, our kitchen was the second most expensive kitchen they had designed but neither the service nor the product was good. They promised us a two week fitting duration, but it actually took three months to complete. There were more problems than I can write about here. Now, one year later, all the cupboard doors have 'curved' and distorted and the kitchen looks tired already. The quality is not good. They demanded all the cash up front, nearly RM50,000 after which we had no leverage when things went wrong. The RM50,000 excluded any appliances, which imported separately from the UK. Neither did it include any structural alterations, plumbing or electrical work, all of which was an additional cost. The total cost including all the above was close to RM80,000.
I would neither use E&Q Kitchens again, nor recommend them.
