β β β β β Renovated and fully air-conditioned, looks more modern compared to the previous set up. One of those shops that sells mostly below market prices. Goods are much cheaper here as compared to other places but of course not everything is below market prices but can assure most of those house grocery are below market prices. Do a check list and start comparing prices. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Parking is a main problem in this areas almost all day long.

β β β β β Mom and pop store, has all the basic items, including chinese herbs, and a counter for herbal drinks. This shop is famous for its baby formula section, very competitive price even compare to big grocery chain stores. It also has a department area for baby items.

β β β β β I used to like Fah Lian a lot as it provides wide variety of herbal and medicinal choices. The shop is modern and clean too until there comes a day I bought dried chrysanthemum to boil herbal tea, I noticed there were tiny beetle like insects in my herbal tea after boiling them. Itβs not just one or two but loads of them. Gross!!!! Not sure if itβs pure luck I got a faulty product from them or not but hopefully Fah Lian can take the initiative to check in the goods from time to time.

There have a chinese trandisional dr inside for consultation.

β β β β β Rude auntie at the herbal tea section. We stood by the counter waiting to order, and she didn't attend to us but continue to wash her dishes. When we asked what varieties are available she said "you can read everything yourself". And when we wanted to order, she continued cleaning the kitchen as if nobody is at the counter. She did this to other customers as well. She seemed like the owner's relative but no offence, she shouldn't be facing customers with that attitude.
