Looked like they're pretty understaffed

I'm nonchalant about waiting time since we're under PKP/PPN which limited FamilyMart's working capacity.
I dont even cara if the cashier/staff didnt smile or greet me with upbeat attitude, soft & calm voice/tone, etc
As long, they're still treat me as a normal customer.
I could and would ignore other's pleasantries, doesnt care much about it.
But, today I'm quite dissapointed with their service.
and I think im not alone with this issue as we could see by other's dozens of reviews with low rating
1) So, I want to pay using ShopeePay since FamilyMart accepting ShopeePay as they advertised on their app, media social, shopee's voucher, and in all of their physical stores
2) I'd picked product I want to purchas
3) I'd queue up to pay
4) After reached the counter, cashier said for ShopeePay she need to use different counter. Since, the counter i was on only for cash, and TNG E-Wallet despite written paper stuck below the counter stated that counter I was on do ACCEPT ShopeePay
5) I'm pretty chill about it
6) But, the cashier then shunned me off. She then decided to gave services to customers behind me for cash/etc payment
7) I'd wait like an idiot for aroudn 5 minutes before gave up since she doesnt have any interest to service me
8) Then i'd walked out from this store without paying for anything since the cashier decided to ignored me
I'm pretty much patron for this branch since I live nearby and gave it 2 stars since not all of their staffs are bad.
Some were nice to me from dozens of interaction I'd had with them for the past year.
Some were simply like i'd wrote. plain dissapointment
Hope this issue will be solve one day. Hopefully.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family mart around penang is actually very confusing, they barely have staff and even if the store has a lot of staff, most of their items are sold out. I have zero clue why I have to wait for like 20 minutes just to pay without getting oden, whereas the cashier was provided two but with only one staff. And the staff have to do oden’s order before proceeding next. Sorry but the most fail food chain ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quit pricy compared with some other famous marts especially can drinks. Rm9.50 at family mart but the same drink only selling for Rm6.50 at those famous Korean shop. Huge different.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always crowded, must queue up, but its okay, when u get to enter there is not many ppl inside and no need to wait to pay. Located on north south highway where many people use to go to work or travel. Many food options. Most favorite is melon pan and sofuto. Try them!! really delicious

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store here has too many customers and the staffs are disorganized with their service. You may have to queue outside if you come during a busy day.
Do not come to this place if you want to order the ramen. The staffs said the ramen wasn’t ready when I asked during the 10 and 20 minute mark so I ended up waiting for 30 minutes for my ramen order and was afterwards told by a staff that they forgot to make my ramen (all while finishing making the ramen for customers behind me which was frustrating). I ended up having to wait for another 5 minutes for my ramen to be ready. It took a staff just 5 mins to get my order done so things would have been a lot smoother if all the staffs are coordinated and doing their work properly.
Honestly, for a shop with so many employees and still having such a horrible service, some of those employees should be fired.
If I do come here in the future, it will only be for pumping petrol and nothing else.

First time visit to this FM outlet. Boleh la nak pekena oden atau onigiri atau bento after a long hours driving. Or if you live nearby you can just drop by.
Kalau first time nak order oden, beratur kat kaunter yg tulis oden tu refer to the menu and choose. sama mcm nk order yong tau fu
Staffs dia okay aja ikut mood depa la kot. Apa2 pun more training and customer satisfaction is important.
You can also make payment with shopeepay and get rm3 cashback.
