This place used to be great and it's getting worse with each visit. Finger food is decent but the main items they're selling are disappointing - Craft Beers. Beer appears and tastes flat and lacks information/guides of what does each beer tastes like in the app that you'll definitely need when you'd like to choose for your own. Environment is decent and live performances are great as well! Friendly staff I'd add too! Verdict: if beer isn't your highest priority, you could consider this place - like any other cafe around. If beer is a go-to objective for visiting this place, consider elsewhere.

A great range of craft beers--bottled, canned or draught. Good service from the staff in introducing the beers, serving the beers and accomodating to customers' needs (we were hungry, kitchen was about to close, they allowed us to sneak in some food). Bottled and canned variety had all sorts of interesting flavours but if you like your beer smoother and lighter, I think the draught is a better choice. What I loved best about the place was the environment (the design and usage of a previously vacant outdoor area of Subang Parade) and the amazing live singer they had there for Deepavali Eve. Her voice was incredible and song choices were great especially the alt rock sessions (I think her name is Qierra if I'm not wrong). Food wise, the yakitori was not bad. I liked the tomatoes with cheese, quail's eggs, squid, shisamo and saba. Some of the other varieties were a hit and miss (sweet potatoes are definitely quite dry and hard). But no mains served so grab a bite before you arrive. Although overall for a beer bar, it's relatively pricey but for its ambiance and set up, it is worth it in my opinion (considering a regular draught is ~RM25 vs a cocktail at any other speakeasy bar can be easily ~RM30-50). My complaint would be for Subang Parade to fix the direct entrance from LG to the bar. It's pretty difficult to find the bar without it. And also for Farmer's Bar to install a few more fans along the edge because the ventilation isn't that great at certain spots.

My favourite place for craft beers. Nice layout with lots of seating. Cosy & charming. Friendly staff. Bit pricey but expected. Huge selection of craft beers to cater for any flavor preferences. They also serve pretty good yakitori & appetisers. Great for a date or chilling with friends.

One of the best speakeasy bar I’ve been ! With various craft beer to choose from ? Thought price for each can is above average beer, they are something different to try over the weekend ! Would love to come again!

If you like beers and wanted to try uncommon brands and types, Farmer's Bar is definitely the place to visit. To access you need to use the stairs in front of the main entrance, and walk down to find a "hut-like" building with many open air seats. Inside the bar there is a row of fridge with more than 200 types of beers. All of which you don't find it at even the big supermarkets like Jaya Grocer or Bens. Price was of course on the high side, a small bottle cost from RM 30 above, and the KGS is priced at RM 62. It was fun to have sampled many types of beers, trying to taste the different type; some was fruity, some was bitter and some taste just like Malta. Great and fun experience here but be ready to spent.

Update June 2022: Much improved customer service now, and more choices of beer and more reasonably priced. There are now beer coasters. They also expanded the size overall. Well done! Update February 2022 Wide selection of beer. Tastefully decorated and clean. These are for that 1 star. The place is mostly non air-conditioned, but they have fans. The quality of service really put us off. The staff does not seem happy, but they want to show that they seem to know what they are doing. They are not courteous and are not trained in hospitality / f&b. In terms of reservation, I called at 2pm to make a reservation for 5pm. When I arrived, the staff could not answer me immediately which table he has reserved for me. We are not the first time to bars. Obviously he did not reserve any table for me, cuz most of the ones around us were already seated with other people. Also, after standing infront of the fridge for some time, no one came and introduced what they have to offer. We also did not like the payment system for a bar - pick your beer and pay at the counter first. Who does that at a bar? The seats are designed to make you leave quickly - hard stools without any backrest. The beer is also not cold enough. They don't have coasters for the beer, and you will get messy droplets of water after a few minutes. It cost RM30 to 100 for a bottle of craft beer, and this is what we get? I've just recently been to their branch in DU, and it was a much better experience.

Finger food was actually quite good. Selection of drinks was very wide in variety. The bar was slightly hidden out of sight but was really pleasant discovery. Venue being at Subang Parade was quite unexpected. Great place to unwind!

A nice bar to chill. They have a wide selection of craft beer. Both in cans/bottles and draft. I find that the prices of the beers here can be a little on the high side. A bottle of beer can go for about RM60. The snacks (mainly Yakitori and grilled stuff) did pair well with the beers.
