★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here’s my experience especially with the injections:
The first time I got an ingrown toenail partial removal, it was on one left big toe, at a basic medical clinic . The doctors their were not podiatrists/foot specialists. The pain from the injection, for me anyways, was worse than the shot they give you at the dentist when they remove teeth. The pain was excruciating as they likely just used a standard needle or idk, even one hour after the surgery, the numb wore off very quick that lead to super painful experience for first 24 hour, here they just cut it out and no acid apply to kill the roots. Even one week after surgery really hell for me, took more than two weeks for healing (slow recovering) * yes of course my ingrown coming back after 5 month*.. speechless after all that painful experience :/
The second time I got the procedure done, it was done here at a podiatrist (FootDoctor Podiatry) . I chose permanent effect same partial removal, I was traumatized by the previous removal, but my podiatrist Dr. Lim ( truly professional and great) did something that totally painless & the injection pain was SIGNIFICANTLY less painful than when I got it done at the basic MD clinic. Don’t get me wrong, when she injected into the side of my toes it still stung quiet a bit, but it was quick, far less painful than the first time. After surgery also no pain at all, I thought after the numb wore off the pain will start to kickin but wait after wait, NOTHING, totally big different from the previous removal at basic MD clinic, Thank you Doc, great place with comfortable environment & the receptionist also very friendly, totally worth it & Highly recommended!
I wrote down this review after two weeks from surgery, the cut is clean, no blood no pus everything is good, the recovering process running smooth. Just hope this time really successful and hopefully the ingrown never return again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my ingrown toenail treatment @ FootDoctor Podiatry. Dr. Lim was nice and experienced. Options were given, and I chose the one with permanent effect; of cource price was higher. For RM1200+, not only the extra piece of toenail was removed, the pain that I suffered in the past 1 year was eliminated too. Two Toes Up!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service, I spend almost rm2000 for a pair of Orthotics, paid one lumpsum in early January. The clinic promised to deliver by end of February and now after a long-haul communicating with the nurse on whatsapp, it says need another 2 months, without any promise on shipment. And the doctor is not available for phone calls. I think this is really ridiculous!!

The doctor is really professional, she identified the root cause, and gave the right treatment. Now my toe nail is growing very well.
They charged me RM 3xx, it's really worth it!

Regarding the procedure, I had a painful experience. The doctor used a scalpel to cut out the plantar wart from the flesh of my foot.
As the scalpel sliced through the sole of my foot, it was too painful for me to bear. Due to the doctor not being able to provide any numbing cream or numbing shot to numb the pain during the procedure. The decision was made by the doctor to stop the operation after only minor surface cutting.
The doctor said that the operation is based on the pain tolerance of the patient. The procedure does not seem like a treatment, but more of a hit or miss procedure depending on the pain tolerance of the patient.
For very minor and partial treatment not performed fully, I was charged a full fee of rm180.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to Dr Lim for a long-standing flat foot/walking posture issue which meant I could never stand for too long, and my shoes would wear out quickly but unevenly; she quickly ascertained the severity of the issue, and proposed a set of custom insoles that are very durable - not the kind you can just pick up at shoe shops.
Just came back for my a follow up a little over two years and i truly am grateful and have nothing but praise - the insoles are still holding up and my shoes no longer wear out quickly!
