★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely generous portion. Ordered buttermilk chicken (RM16) that came with rice, omelette and a bit of slaw.
Initially thought its a Chinese restaurant, but its a chinese food inspired cafe serving rice bowls and chinese fusion pasta like siew yoke (roasted pork)
Park in basement as the ground floor parking are mostly reserved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forebidden... Intriguing name that trigger you to find out more. Interesting menu with creative dishes names. They serve Chinese fusion food.
Buttermilk Chicken rice bowl. The chicken is super crispy and well marinated, served with scramble egg, softest and dreamiest ever...
Pulled-pork Benedict. Inspired by open faced sandwich, they use Chinese mantou instead. Pulled pork has a hint of citrusy lemon topped with 3-minutes poached egg and ebiko. Wow! Packed with umami savoury flavour.
Will definitely come back and try out the rest in the menu!
I think they put lots of MSG, get so thirsty after the food... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting dishes on the menu. Overall not bad, not a big fan of the sweet potato sides, too dense IMO, also naturally sweet and doesn't complement the protein well, would prefer if they made them lighter somehow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was so-so, the roast pork in the Pork Lane was not crispy at all, they were soggy. The seafod soup was good. The Finger Lickin ribs were forgetable. The cocktails - RM36 per glass, I find the Yuzu Mizu was the best. Service was lacking coz we had big group and we ordered some food to share but there were no extra plates and utensils given. No serving of drinking water too. Which was quite disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem of a place. Love the ambiance and the food we ordered was really delicious. Too bad their bestselling dessert was sold out on the day I was there, as we were really keen to try it out. Would definitely come again to try out the rest of the items on the menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sort of an asian fusion food selection. Taste is definitely good, each dish had its specific flavours. Tried their cocktail which was very pleasant as well. Service is friendly.
The restaurant is a little hidden within Ara Damansara in a shoplot complex, so you need to look out for it. Once inside, the ambiance is cosy.

Food was overall good. I had the golden fish rice bowl and my friend had the pasta, my man-go fishing.
I think the pumpkin sauce in the rice bowl was good touch. As for the pasta, it could do more with the pesto for that extra oomph. Coffee was good (this I was certain as I visited foremula and therefore already). Service was very good. Polite servers and very welcoming. We were happy it was not crowded and felt very comfy sitting in the cafe enjoying our meal and conversations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the sense of aesthetic and ambience of this place. Need some patience for the food if come in large group, but certainly worth the wait! Every dish comes with interesting name and is very well attended and crafted. Especially like the seafood noodle soup and salmon pasta. Outdoor seatings available, like a hidden corner along the side walk which is totally enjoyable. Good service too.
