★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Golf courses are flat and not so much of challenges, consider ok for me. Room is a reasonable size but the maintenance is not so clean.
My balcony full of dried leaves and dusty floor. Provided chairs and table for day and night view of the course, thinking to enjoy my wine but I rather not to even step out . restaurant foods are good but not great. Staffs are polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pinnacle golf course in Johor Bahru. Two 18 holes course really challenge your golf skills ability. Classic course more tough and challenging and Legacy more easy. You never regret to play here and of cause satisfaction come with price..?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We played in 2 of their 18-hole courses. Our preference is still the JNK legacy course and it was such a great experience we would play it anytime again. The fairway is extremely luscious, very well kept and so so beautiful. Especially love the little bear markers they placed on each tee box. The landscape resemble that of desert, lots of palm trees and sand in the landscaping. It was extremely hot but very breezy throughout the course. Overall a very beautiful course and absolutely well maintained. The LGK classic course is more challenging although rather flat and not as aesthetically beautiful as the legacy course. There are a couple of holes that feature islands which makes the play interesting. There are a couple of little pretty huts along the course where drinks are sold in vending machines but require grabpay or MYR to buy the drinks. There are also quite a lot of crows that will explore the carts while we are away on the green. Annoying creatures! One improvement point is that single player have to pay RMR95 to use the cart and the staff came all the way to where we teed off to ask for payment. They should ask for it during registration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely cracking golf course, facilities are great, range and putting area stunning. Golf course was immaculate, fairways, greens etc very very nice. Played the Jack Nicklaus course, nice touch with the bear tee markers. Course resembles desert style with wasteland sand areas amongst lush green fairways and palm trees. Nice and numerous refreshment huts on way round for drink refill. For the price, amazing value. Playing public courses for last 2 years to this was like night and day. Great day out from Singapore. Why pay ++ for 9 holes where conditions often suck when here you and your mates can get private hire car return, 18 holes, buggy with ice box for same price. Have a shower, freshen up after in very nice changing rooms, like a proper club. Beer/wine and food after in very nice hotel lobby for reasonable price as well. Also staff very pleasant and friendly, not aggressive as have experienced in SG sometimes. Had a smile on my face all day. Can’t wait to go back to try classic course next week.
UPDATE 08/06/2022:
Played the classic course. Equally as impressive as JN course. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, all immaculate. But plays different enough from the JN course to offer a nice variety. Much less sandy wasteland areas and much more water. Tighter fairways and greens more undulating with large/steep runoff areas. Great fun! All in all another great experience at Forest City Golf Resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic course is much better in term of layout. Not a very tough course and the green is a bit slow. 8.5 only.
Wide fairway with not much obstacles and bunker. So just avoid the rough and will get your regulation on with not much problem.. Good course to enjoy and practice during weekday as it was not crowded at all
Why 2 stars only?
1. Hotel room was big in size only. But not well maintained a bit run down already. All furniture the door can't close properly
2. Wifi was VERY Bad. Basically no connection at All in the Room.
3. 3-1 coffee and beverage in the room can't consume as it was spoiled. That Shown how much the house keeping is doing their job to ensure all stuff are clean and replace.
4. Buffet breakfast was sufficient in choose but it was not so nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the best golf course in Malaysia! Feels like you are playing abroad due to the wastelands, coconut trees and a river surrounding the course. The fairways resemble carpets. The tee boxes and rough have been trimmed with such precision. Course is in sublime condition however the greens may be a bit slow compared to the speeds of other courses. In sum it is excellent.
