There are few pools available at the water park area. Strolling along the beach is calming except there are unpleasant view of few visitors at the booths. Hope the authorities could observe that kind of activity. There are also other open water activities available.

Interesting place. Love the architecture. Looks so futuristic like in a movie. But a lot of shops are closed.

Forest City, also known as 'Smart Island City', is an integrated city-level sustainable development project located on the slopes of Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. It was announced in 2006 as a twenty-year project, the project was pitched under China's Belt and Road (BRI) Initiative. It covers a total area of 1,370 hectares (13.7 km²). The project has been touted as the 'Shenzhen of Southeast Asia', referring to its proximity to Singapore as Shenzhen is to Hong Kong. The new city is being promoted as a smart, green and futuristic city that combines environment, technology and cutting-edge technology to create an ideal, idyllic and technology-driven living and working space ecosystem. The project comprises of 4 man-made islands which will have a mix of residential, leisure, commercial, and industrial space, and will have an estimated population of 700,000 residents, while currently, about 25,000 people are living in the city. The city's first phase is having construction period of 5 years, which was started in 2015 and was completed in 2020. It is the biggest megaproject in Malaysia, standing at a cost of RM 423.5 billion (US $ 100 billion). Once fully completed, the city will generate over 220,000 new jobs. It will also have an excellent transportation system, most likely a light-rail system and a water taxi network will be established, which will effectively provide to over 100,000 people per day. The city will be linked with 3 major highways, the Malaysia–Singapore Second Link, Skudai Road and Tanjung–Pelepas Highway. Forest City is estimated to have a gross development value in excess of RM 100 billion (Singapore $ 33 billion) over 20 years. As Singapore is close to it, Forest City will play a part in Singapore's development, allowing residents to enjoy the conveniences of Singapore city, along with the relatively cheaper cost of living in Malaysia. Due to COVID-19, the project remains halted, with no progress made on the remaining three islands. The project is expected to be fully completed by 2035.

Its 20 min from HSAJB. Highways and no tolls! Place is amazing! Driving in can see a the tall buildings! Beautiful. There is Fisherman Wharf, the shopping venue connected to the beach. However, most of the shops already closed down except the duty free. Have to pass by Kastam when driving into Forest City. Exit they will stop and check your car & boot. All those duty free stuff is only for use in Forest City. Hardly any humans there is the city. The beach is beautiful, overlooking Singapore Tuas port. The tall office building has amazing architecture but its not occupied. Amazing work with the crabs, sea lions and other decos. Has park along the beach as well. Can see the 2nd link bridge from the beach. Sad thing is, the restaurants at the transport hub all closed down as well. The amazing Phoenix hotel, international school & Marina hotel closed down as well. By 8 pm, that place and most roads are pitch black, even street lights building light are mostly closed. Sad. Covid or too rapid? #snoringpenguins

It's a unique place, as it's about 20-30min out from the JB city, but you can see Singapore when you are at the coast. The beach is with white sand and clean. Unfortunately you cannot go into the sea for swimming. There are however some other activities, like water jet bike, ATV, some dry n wet playgrounds for the kids. There are seats and shades around. There is also outlets where you can shop a little. There's also duty free shops to get alcohols and chocolates. Do note that the alcohols are meant for local consumption in the Forest City, cannot bring out of that. There is random custom check when leaving the area.

Lots of cute replicas there. There is a Pen Ha there saying, many more replicas will arrive. Not fully ready. If I add more replicas, I think the place must be more beautiful. Lost Country Garden Danga Bay. But if you look at the details, there is a similar Country Bay building arrangement and so on, you know it's a contractor and an idea. Whatever is the best. The eatery has not opened much yet. So far, the area is really big. You mistakenly broke your leg to walk from one area to another. Uwaaa .... Warning, please wear low shoes if you don't want to hurt your feet. You don't have to wear high heels, like here, you'll suffer yourself later. Keep your feet healthy, it's important to walk

This place deserves Seven Star. Company has made the building very beautiful and with care. And there is no such thing as a conventional story here. This is my personal opinion. The park swimming pool has been so beautifully admired. It was a wonderful place for me ? Recommended ❤️
