★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You pick the items you want from a collection of fried pieces displayed in front of the shop. After that the stalls will cut it up in small pieces and pour their special sauce over it. Overall the fried items were average and the sauce is a little too sweet to my liking. There are numerous stalls in the food court that are selling the same food so we do not know whether one is better than the other.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pasembor is good,but sadly no potato ?. But the surrounding ? Padang Kota is so overrated that they don't care about the hygiene surrounding the dining place. I think we hardly seen this 'lengang' like it always eak hour here. I would recommend Penang management to have one day in a month for spring cleaning in Padang Kota

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered from grab food and pick up from the store. As soon as I reach the shop and presented my order number, I was pushed to a different shop called sheriff.
In the shop they have stocked up plastic bag from gani passembor. Manage to took a picture of the shop but the shop attendant keep on saying it's the same like gani passembor. Felt cheated and such dishonest way of doing business. If the shop owner can see this comment, shame on you in doing this kind of business.

The taste is good. You can fell the sweet and a little bit of spicy flavor in your gravy. But the Pesembur is cold. My advise is let the gravy heated while customers choose the Pesembur and queuing, so that the dishes taste fresh and cooked.
The price is ok, but be careful if you want to take the sotong, udang or ketam. I asked udang is around RM8/9 per pieces. The sotong is around RM40, 10-15 cm i guess, but quite thick. Looks delicious but not in my budget. I just take 2 udang for my Pesembur
At first, the front staff insist to tell the price, just said to me see the price list at board. But when i ask that sotong, it is out of range from the list (RM3-15)?, so better you tanya habis-habisan before they chopped your Pesembur.
Overall, don’t let your customers waiting too long. I hope there is no intention purposely keep the customers to show your shop is long queuing. Please speed up! The Padang Kota itself is not really clean. You can tutup mata sebelah of you really want to experience eating there. I enjoy eating there, throw back my memories when i study there. I give 3.5 ⭐️ from my experience.
