The nasi lemak is extraordinary. The rice is small and fragrant. The sambal chilli is nice but very spicy. You can ask them to pack separately without the chilli if you have young children. They can also add egg if you ask for it. The rice is the best.

โ โ โ โ โ ventured into this place during a recent holiday to try the famous nasi lemak which was closed by the time we got there (did try it on another day and it was awesome!!) and when it started raining, we were stuck there. The curry mee uncle was super friendly so we decided to give it a try. It was soooo good. And the portions were so generous at RM5. Uncle gave us loads of sambal to accompany the delicious broth and the combination was just amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat for the taste, the service and the friendliness. It made my day!!!

โ โ โ โ โ I came here for breakfast. It was nicely busy but I had no troubles finding a table. I fancied western food and made a beeline for the western stall. A ham and cheese toasted sandwich was only Rm 4. When I sat down, another lady asked me if i wanted a drink. I went for an iced coffee for Rm 1.90. Both were decent and good value for money.

โ โ โ โ โ Conveniently situated in the hustles and bustles of the George Town bank street, this clean and airy food hall has some of the best eats in town. The nasi lemak Bungkus has to be one of the best Iโve tasted but be forewarned, as it is very spicy ! The Penang white curry mee too was very flavorful.

Large washroom facility is included at the end of the food court.
