★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A one of its kind hospital in Malaysia for the exclusive treatment of the natives of the land. The aboriginies or orang asli as they are known in Malaysia live in the jungles surrounding the hospital and also in few other states.
The caters exclusively for them and no other admissions are allowed. It is located between Gombak and Bentong on federal route 68 and is surrounded by lush green tropical forest. There are no cafeteria or ATM or even a sundry shop since there is not enough population to sustain these business so for food and other needs staff, patient and visitors go to nearby food stalls.
Very clean, quite and peaceful area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hospital were built in 1959 initially made from planks. Its existence was to provide free health services to the
orang asli or sons of the soil, the aborigines in peninsular Malaysia. 80% of the orang asli lived below the proverty line. The hospital staffs were trained to handle the shy orang asli and some of them can speak several orang asli dialects to facilitate communication. The hospital is accessible by taking the frequent bus service from Kuala Lumpur. Some orang asli patients would be referred to this hospital from several government clinics for admission and such.
