★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gosford JB is a mixed bag of extreme experiences. The customer relations executive is bar none the best I've seen in the car care industry. The rest is a sad tale of poor quality, carelessnesd and destructive work ethics.
~total time in the workshop :a little over 2 weeks
~vehicle Toyota Vellfire ANH20
~leather seats :OK for the price if you don't go searching for defects. Obviously factory made covers are acceptable but those parts hand sewn on site like head rests are a disaster.
~dashboard upholstery :standard PVC material is OK but they botched up with obvious bumps and creases.I insisted on a do over which removed the bumps but worsened the creases. Decided another 1 week in their workshop wasn't worth the aggravation
~internal black plastic panel spray paint and restoration : this job was shoddy...the finished product hazes and scratches at the slightest contact, they completely forgot or didn't bother with the lighter grey panels and roof lining...passing it off as done
~list of parts damaged in the process include
a. Dashboard insert panel - broke the pins
b. Driver seat back hook - broken
c. Dashboard electronics - disconnected the internal lighting wiring
d. Passenger sliding seat - left it shaky after dismantling for upholstery (tried but failed to rectify)
e. Door panels - front passenger door, driver step panel and under dash panels all misaligned and rattling
Additional problem - the first round I left the car with them, staff drove it around for 190km...confirmed the joy ride with my onboard camera and odometer. Warned them about it on my car's second stay...no repeat
Summary - I did a complete overhaul for my car as I was renewing my COE. Engine overhaul, sound proofing, repaint, stereo upgrade, auto tailgate, electronics rewiring and upholstery. The biggest letdown was Gosford. Had to get help from my other contractors to correct most of the related damage. I guess the age old advice ... you get what you pay for is correct...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did half leather for my Honda HRV, all seats + door panels charged at 1.8k. Took 6hours. No trouble at all. Decent workmanship. 1st visit is to take measurements and pay deposit. Quite a few S'porean cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is where cussion for cars are refurbish with mostly high quality leather. They will refurbish any brand of cars with high quality workmenship. This include steering cover (leather) car roof and you name it they will refurbish for you. Price wise of course a bit high but considering the quality of workmenship most custemers don't mine it.
