β β β β β Decent pasta. It is located in a very 'hip' area. It can get quite busy so do make a booking if possible. Finding carpark can be an issue here. They aren't exactly expensive either.

β β β β β Nice small Pasta place at APW - small menu and cozy place. Good friendly staff provide nice service, portion sizes are good and price is ok. Taste is great and pasta made fresh.

β β β β β Small shop nestled amongst other popular food joints. The homemade pasta is what they are famous for and is worth a try - although it was slightly over cooked and not al dente.
Service was excellent and attentive. Portions quite small so order a bit more. The place is tiny so do book ahead.

β β β β β TL;DR: for good homemade pastas in a cosy location.
Thereβs no doubt that the pastas at @grano_apw are good - the noodles are al dente and the combination of flavours sing in your mouth. Care is taken in plating and presentation, the decor is cosy and the service is friendly and attentive. A solid spot for your pasta fix. The only downside used to be the smaller portions and the heftier price; which some say can be justified by the handmade pasta and the quality of ingredients. However, a visit over the weekend showed larger portions while the price remained the same - bringing them back into contention with other Italian and pasta locations. Highly recommend the puttanesca, the polenta fritta and the delicate earl grey panna cotta. The menu hasnβt changed in a year - would love to see an update.
Pro tip: you can order pizzas from sister restaurant @proofpizza_apw next door and vice versa

β β β β β Upon entry the place looks so dead no one really care much about the business. Waited and a waiter came but a very clueless person.
Company did not train the staff. No bread or garlic bread for a restaurant ia a shame.
I walked out. The next door looks better and they value their business by valuing their customers.
Will NOT reccomand Grano Pasta to anyone. They are way better options.

β β β β β GRANO Pasta and Bar is located in APW, Bangsar. When we walked into the restaurant, it felt very cosy and thematic was very inviting as well. It was nice too because it was just me and my friend inside the restaurant.
We were greeted by the sous-chef, Chef Gavin, he recommended a few dishes from starters to our main course. We truly enjoyed the food especially the vongole pasta, it was flavourful and the ingredients were fresh. The pasta was tasty. Other than that, we also had the truffle pizza, and it was fantastic! If you enjoy creamy pizza, this pizza is definitely to go for.
Overall, our experience was memorable. The food was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend to those who are looking for a quiet ambience to eat and drink.

β β β β β Good ambience and interior design. We ordered seafood risotto and the beef ravioli. Risotto was 4.5/5, could have added more seafood and portion for the price. Ravioli was 3/5, not a big fan of the beef, but the gravy on top was nice. The bread basket was also delicious. Will try other stuff again.
