★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally I got the chance to dine at this place as I passed by the place few times and one attemp was close..I didn't realise it closed on Friday.
Well..the environment was nice and the service was prompt.
As for the food I decided to have the infamous Gulai Itik Salai..which I've tasted at a few places and I think here was not up to fhe standard I was hoping to get.
They have also ayam salai daging salai and some other dishes as well.
It was not so spicy as my 10 years old son can managed?. A bit disapointing as the itik it self was a bit stiff.
Overall it was okay. All meals comes in set and pricing are reasonable. For me their itik salai was okay but definitely not the best one I've tasted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gulai salai de hilir serves good food in set. Can choose set goreng panas2, masak lemak gulai set or asam pedas set. And the variety of choice of lauk you can choose from. Ayam, itik, daging or fishes. The serving time is appropriate and the portion is a little bigger than average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's good. The gulai is not overly chili hot. The owner smoked (salai) the meat themselves. Every bite of the daging salai you can taste the smokiness. Worrh the visit. Price is affordable. We had the puyuh goreng set and ayam goreng berempah set with the gulai daging salai as an ad on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasted better salai elsewhere but portion is huge compared to others. They even have asam pedas if ur not into salai plus a few other menus. Drinks are great so does their sambal belacan. Overall a nice eatery but it feels kinda crowded and hot. Love how the waitress & cashier handles the order & payment too.
