★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rewarding feeling after reaching the tip of GUS. The distance between Gap and Ulu Tranum (fake peak) seemed endless. Loved this experience, may come again after exploring others. Took 7 hours in total with rain slowing us down in the morning for am hour. Also took a long break on GUS to admire the isolation from society and beauty of nature. Besides the rocky cliff in GUS, there's a mossy forest a short trail from the left of the pondok(gazebo). Don't go so deep inside there or you'll get lost hehe. Bring 2L of water and also salt for leeches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starting point a bit obscure as not really indicated as a starting point. Hike is reasonable, abt 3-4hrs up, slightly faster if u r fitter. Nice views. Trail doesn't have rivers or streams.

Took our on sweet time at the peak enjoying the view .
Trail was moderate to easy .
View was so cantik and amazing .
Mossy part also cantik semua nya .
Worth the hike and sweat .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moderately challenging hike. Took about 1 hour to reach the peak of Gunung Gap and 1.5 hours to Gunung Ulu Semangkok. The hike was manageable, suitable for intermediate hikers. The weather was chilly, suggest to bring windbreaker or raincoat.
