★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To reach this peak, continue from the pine tree trail peak. As its further into the forest, less vandalism, and more nature. Make it a more enjoyable trail. Toughness is more or less the same, but its just 20min to 1hr distance depend on your pace to this second peak. Not to mention is the mid way to another peak call semangkok, which another 7hrs away!
View is magnificent panaromic view of mountain valley. The peak have little shade and house the bigger boder stone of Selangor and Pahang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nice and cooling hike you can do about 2.5 hrs hours drive from Kuala Lumpur.
The trail starts with a easy huge pine tree trail signage.. go with pretty straight forward trail to pine tree peak (i remember it was a huge pine tree peak) and further to twin peak (roughly 3hrs).
For this hike we started from jeriau waterfall and hike towards twin peak, we descend further to sungai merah and finally Gunung Semangkok.
It is a hell tough hike 10-20hours approx and must not be taken lightly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a track for newbies or juniors. This is an awesome trek for season hikers. Route is technical and only 20% max is runnable for trail runners. Filled with roots and fallen trees.
