★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my hair cut and dyed here recently, and suffice to say I had a very pleasurable experience. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and I enjoyed every moment. Kudos to Cristy for a great job with my hair and her advice! Will definitely pay a visit in the future :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been wanting to get my hair coloured for months and Hairstory was the only hair saloon which provided me with all the necessary information regarding the process through WhatsApp before I booked my appointment. I’ve provided them with some photo samples of what I wanted and they gave me suggestions on what would be suited for my face and how not to trust the photos too much as it might be edited. Throughout the entire process, the hairstylist (Hannah) was gentle with my hair and was very interactive with me. They made me feel very comfortable throughout the long process of bleach and colouring. The end result of my hair was very beautiful and I was happy. Would truly recommend everyone to go to this place to get your hair professionally done. God bless them and the miracles they do on the customer’s hair. They also let you eat while getting your hair done (for those for are worried it might take too long and you’re hungry).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my hair cut here. Nice service and environment. Hairstylist is Rachel, a cute girl. She is patient and kind, can communicate well on the details of every cut. The price is reasonable and i get what i want. Like it very much and will come next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store practice good hygiene, so you can still attend during this pandemic. Their customer service is also really good. I was served by Hannah and Rachel. Hannah is very patient and friendly, she made me a good hair perm and explained to me how can Itake care of my hair in an easy way, very professional. Rachel did an quite good job in the assisting although she’s just a trainee, told me every step they were taking made me felt certain.
Overall i had a really great experience here and would come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always love the experience of going to Hairstory. I've been going to Mayee for almost three years, and she does a great job with my haircut and highlights every time. Precinct 10 also has a very relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ COLORING FAILED BIG TIME. Samples were shown prior to service but they counter-suggested another color (purple)because the one shown (indigo) wasn’t achievable by the salon. They claimed to be confident with the purple AND that one-time bleach is enough as this color would “latch” easily.
The result was the worst I have ever seen. Hair looked like it was not bleached or/ and dyed at all! The supervisor was rather egoistic and said that it was my hair texture problem and insisted that they had “succeeded”in the coloring and that after 1-2 washes the purple would show. It’s just been 4 days (and 2 washes) later, and look at my hair color in the pic! It’s turned dull brown, and I wanna cry… and No,,this would not lighten to become purple (for those of you who are wondering /have not experienced bleached and dyed color hair before) . Hair would only turn ash-like then yellow /orange (bleached state) after that..
This experience is a total CHEAT
Before I was coerced into paying for that damned service, the supervisor had the audacity to suggest that another part of hair can by dyed for that “sharper” color effect IF I really needed to ‘see color’ immediately .. Duh…
I have had my hair done a few times by the original Korean owner as early as 16 years ago and now this is happening. QC problem…?.?. Well, am just utterly disappointed especially on how the young ladies running this outlet had tried TO WEAVE THEIR WAYS OUT OF REAL ISSUES with INADEQUATE EXPERIENCES and technical EXPERTISE, and their crass FAILURE to provide required service and real solutions for issues they created. Or what another reviewer Olivia David had said, these kids spewed LIES. I’d say they were MANIPULATIVE or were they trained to be so?
There are over 100 reviews here (at this point) and I wonder how many % of the GOOD comments are by real customers. IF you have the money to spend, go elsewhere.
