β β β β β Soggy rice, overcooked fish, thick flour taste mantis prawn, blant taste crab. Basically you canβt find a decent dish taste IF you have some requirement for your seafood dining. Canβt recommend. Price is not cheap too.

β β β β β This is a pretty hidden seaside seafood restaurant in Teluk Kumbar, 30 minutes outside of the city centre.
If you're staying nearby, then this is one of only a couple of Chinese seafood restaurants around. It is right next door to Lexis Penang hotel.
If you come a little earlier before dusk, then take a short walk to the beach right by the restaurant, quite an amazing sight if you ask me.
Really fresh seafood fare here & to only pay about MYR200 for all these... its really affordable!
Here's what we had:

β β β β β [Post Covid-19] Great place to enjoy seafood dinner with amazong sunset views. However, there's a lot of house fly. But food was great, you shpuld try their Sour Plum Juice (Ambula Swim Phuay), their grouper fish, Octopus. Do avoid the crabs as they're small and extremely pricey.

β β β β β This this the experience is okok la. We had a decent seafood dinners here but with some dissatisfaction dishes.
The kam heong crab is kind of jelat, quite θ
»..Quite different from the actual kam heong that prepared by the Cantonese or KL people.
The oat mantis prawn is pretty dried, if somehow over fried I guess.
The best is still the satay and salted egg squid.
3 stars for overall experience this time.

β β β β β Recommend to dine in early, we arrived at 6pm, traffic quickly buildup and car park full.
You can enjoy the sunset while having your dinner.
Good selection of seafood, we ordered 7 dishes for 4 cost below RM200, a value for money.
Must order the satay next door, a Rendang taste satay, a super like.

β β β β β Amazing food with eye catching sunset view if you visit here in the evening. Seafood dishes here were way cheaper than KL area (we ordered like 5 seafood dishes and cost us around rm130 only). There is a chicken satay stall located at the end of the restaurant. Unlike the satay I had before, I guess they dipped the satay in the sauce before grilling it to ensure it is well coated with the sauce. When the satays were served, they were well marinated and no dipping sauce needed because itβs already amazing without it!
Parking might be an issue here during dinner hour. Need some luck to find a parking or you can park at the residential area opposite the restaurant entrance as long as youβre not blocking peopleβs house.

β β β β β Hasnβt been here since MCO. It has back into usual, full of crowds and customers.
The food here I would rate 4 stars.
Some the times, not all type of seafood are available, they are depend on the availability caught by the fishermen.
Evening sunset is a very nice views enjoying the dinner with the family.
This is another gathering place with my uni friends too ?. They also like this place.
The price are still reasonable βΊοΈ
Hope the global shortage donβt caught further inflation.
