★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How they work with unclean workstation. Asking for money before do job, even the task not complete they take the deposit. How people can say ‘save money’ when u not repair anything but need to pay RM50 for nothing and bring back your unsettle thing home. Sad and disappointed for paying nothing and bring back unsettle product. If u want to repair tv its ok but not other things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came with something fixable. I went home with broken screen (not fixable anymore guys)
DIY session supervised by student. Do this at your own risk. What upset me was I know my problem was something related to the board. I told the student. The student also told the "teacher" that he thinks it is not related to backlight. But the teacher insisted on checking the backlight.
For those who does not know this, to access the backlight, you need to take out the SCREEN, which is like the most fragile part of the tv and once that is ruin, it is not worth it to repair the tv anymore. And when you put back the screen, there should be no DUST whatsoever on it. (which is not possible in this shop. the guy behind me was vacuuming his tv dust. how clean do you think the work station can be)
So after putting back the screen , guided by the student, i screw the tv back together. And something must have caught somewhere on the screen or perhaps the screen was not properly placed, because once the screws were tightened, the screen started to crack.
So, in the end, the teacher did not know what caused the tv problem in the first place and in addition, I went home with cracked screen.
so my advice, if your tv problem is only related to the boards behind it (which is easy to access), sure go ahead with DIY session. but once you need to touch the screen, leave it to the professional. Just pay for the repair service rather than DIY session.
