โ โ โ โ โ This is a very huge and old hotel which in it's heyday was quite magnificent. The corridors look tired but the rooms have been given minor interior face-lifts to 'keep up with the times', however the blend of old furniture and modern feature wall interiors are obvious.
Plus side it's a big hotel where you can find your space and privacy with 3 pools spread out on the sprawling property. Or head out to the vast expanse of beach which is rarely crowded. Breakfast is very average, Malaysian style.

โ โ โ โ โ Good vibes, very friendly staff, service is very good. We went on weekdays thus no crowd. The private pool is really awesome and our kids enjoy swimming very much. Weโre near to the beach and i enjoy morning walk along the beach. The room is spacious.
However, too bad the room was dusty even on the bed drape and everywhere. The bed was cracked in my room.. the cleaner was very cool when i asked her to sweep under the bed thank you โบ๏ธ
But i think, you need to equip them with vacuum cleaner to help them cleaning the dust near window, under bed & perhaps weekly or monthly change the bed drape.
Itโs so sad because the house/room, the environment and the private pool is really a plus point for la villa. I wonโt mind to promote if only it was cleaner and well maintained.
Overall thank you la villa for the best services gave by the team. All of your team are the best.

โ โ โ โ โ Very run down hotel. Took almost 2 hours to get our room ready due to late check out. Seems rather unfair since weโd have to check out around the designated time because unlike some people, we respect the time of the next guest and would like to give more time for the cleaners to get the room ready. Coffee machine was down, system was also down when we wanted to check out. However, massive praise to the manager and one of their staff members who were helpful and made sure to speed up the check in. The beach is clean as well.

Your staff service is very good and they are very polite from front desk to housekeeping is very satisfactory. clean rooms and toilets, clean swimming pool, there is always staff to take care if you need help and towels. the distance to the beach is very close. clean beach. The buffet menu is delicious. Thank you Holiday Villa Cherating. definitely will come back.
But please provide a thick blanket. During our stay, the blanket you provide is only the quilt cover which is very thin. We are shivering at night.

โ โ โ โ โ Great swimming pools.. comfortable location. But management need to be improved. Waited almost an hour to finish checking in.. and the lobby counter had no air flow, not even a fan, making us waited in sweat in long ques. And the management unexpectedly change my room number, "upgrading" my twin queen bed into 1 king size bed. Scammed

โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful beach front location with great swimming pools however the pool was shut from 12-3pm every day so we could not even use it. When the pool was open the same exact song was playing on repeat for days. The gym also has no aircon so its boiling if you want to work out. The restaurant food is in need of great improvement.

โ โ โ โ โ It was our first time here. Check in process was not bad, in fact we got a free upgrade to the villa, which is totally an awesome experience. Initially, desk phone, aircond and shower were not working but they are not a big issue especially when you have access to a private pool attached to the villa. Breakfast spread was good and some of the items on the menu can change on different days, which is a rarity nowadays. Beach was decent as well as the guest pool and mini theme park. Ample parking and for some of the more premium rooms, you get your own parking spot. Overall a very surprisingly pleasant hotel in this area. Will sure come back again just for the villa.

โ โ โ โ โ We got a great deal - 300rm for 2 nights including breakfast, so we canโt expect much.
The (infinity) pool side area is recently upgraded and looks really nice but the rest is a bit worn down due to the pandemic.
Only 5 minutes away from the prime surfing spot at Cherating village- would recommend.
The beach by the hotel is also nice and not busy.
We were first allocated the room in the main building but were glad we got changed to the chalet room as this was slightly bigger and cleaner.
It comes down to small things like the freshness of towels and the unflushable toilets.
