The same location as when they had a huge tree and the wooden pushcart. They're only open on Saturday and Sunday from 6am till noon. Go before the breakfast crowd wakes up. Get your number and find a table. Parking can be a challenge sometimes.

Sorry to provide -ve comment here. The food called prawn cracker noodle but the cracker really can't find any prawn. It was different with about 40 years ago when I small and started eat here everytime visited Malacca with my family. That time just a stall with a tree. Also, prawn cracker still can see some little prawn tail and eat the prawn meat. Now, not sure the cracker inside the prawn cracker or not. Or, the cracker without prawn were served to me due to crowded period.

Terrible service, no proper queuing systems . Only local people know that they need to take numbers . First time patron , pls take note . The best is they don’t care , ask you to wait .

Had it for breakfast. Hard to get a parking nearby. Hmm, this is abit overrated ? came here due to seeing some blog spots about day trip to Melaka. However, nothing special about the prawn crackers, it’s just normal cracker, fish ball doesn’t taste good too. The only good stuff is the homemade Kueh teow noodle. There’s only one chef, hence long waiting time. Ambience is not that good as hygiene is so so, place is hot. Overall remain natural 3stars.

Super long queue, price reasonable with medium bowl RM5.5, big bowl RM6.5, adding ingredients extra RM2. Personally feel not worth for waiting 30minutes. The staffs here were friendly and polite, ordering and queueing in systematic way, no one is allowed to cut queue. I would not suggest any Penangites to come here if you happened to see any KOL highly recommended this. Their soup is just taste like normal KT soup in Penang, texture of noodles and koay teow is slightly hard. The only specialty is adding fried thin prawn cracker into soup.

2 Apr 2022 We heard this famed hoo khiew prawn crackers noodles has re-opened for business. When we arrived before 7am the place was already crowded. There was also a queue for takeaways. Patron needs to take a number near the SOP counter and wait for their turns to order their meals. Also patrons need to take their chilli sauces from another counter. Chopsticks and spoons are available on each table. The service is efficient and attentive. We ordered the standard prawn crackers noodles set and Milo kosong. Food tasted as good as before. Prices have gone up but are still affordable. Parking is limited. Expect to wait for more than 30 minutes and walk a short distance.
