โ โ โ โ โ One word: HORRIBLE.
We made a booking online to stay at this hostel couple of weeks before our trip and made full payment. But when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the rooms are full and we were offered to stay at another hostel; Pulau Ketam Inn. I assume these two places are under the same management. Pulau Ketam Inn was a nightmare! Painting were peeling off the wall, super noisy at night. I wouldnโt complain if this was what were paid for but itโs not! How is it acceptable for a hotel management to say โrooms are full!โ when we already made a full payment ahead! Wouldnโt recommend any living soul to stay here for god sake

โ โ โ โ โ It started off well, the room provided was clean, location was great and as per photos on the website.
However, it went careening downhill after. There is an adjoining restaurant operated by the hotel that provides open-air karaoke. Now, Iโm not unfamiliar with the concept of overly stimulated ahpeks and ahsohs belting their heart out at Chinese weddings. However, why is this happening at a hotel? My room is located above the restaurant and I can even feel the bass from the karaoke machine. We politely asked the hotel operator at 9:30pm if there is an end time to this unwanted concert and were told โ10-ishโ. 11:15pm came and we asked again, and were told 11:30pm lul. Here Iโm writing this review at 11:25pm with my head pounding along with Chinese oldies sung by tone deaf karaoke enthusiasts.
Not a good idea to stay here with elderlies. Unless what I just described sounds like your type of entertainment ofc.

โ โ โ โ โ Johnson Electric Bike that in front of your hotel was sucks. I really dislike their dishonest way of doing business. I rent their electric bike on 11 June 7pm. Their staff just briefed me RM50 is rental , RM 50 is deposits (Nothing else he said) When I return the electric bike on 12 June 12:50pm , they only pay me RM30 , I asked them why ? They said : because need to return at 11am. So they charge for RM 20 extra. Im so angry . At 1st , they didn't explain what time I should return. (But comman sense , we should return after 12 pm right after we check out from homestay. ) And they also didn't mention that will charge RM10 per hour after 11am. THIS IS REALLY DISHONEST WAY OF BUSINESS. Recommend go to the shop at second street at pulau ketam , its second shop at the street. (my gf said: the owner very nice , friendly and not that over calculative person.)

โ โ โ โ โ Room looked clean , but actually quite dusty . Location is too far from nearby establishment. Have to rent a ebike to reach here. The worst part of the homestay is the noise that next room created Can be heard clearly inside your room. Today is 21/5/22, I dunnoe how much normally they charged but when I tell the local that I've been charged RM158 for the stay when we having casual conversation. They said "huh? So expensive ?". I don't care how much they charged as this is my impromptu trip. I don't mind . Aircon working great, ceiling fan working great, water heater working great , all the lighting working fine .
They only give u some toilet papers and 3bar of mini soap. Bring your own toothpaste and tooth brush .
U can rent the ebike for RM50/day from the same operator . No18 no brake , no32 is fine but battery drain quite fast, no30 battery very lasting but only 1 brake is working and the suspension making weird sound everytime u went into uneven road.
Choose a better bike .
