My wife and I visited multiple confinement center and we sign up with hug confinement center within our first visit. The environment of the center is beautiful and the staffs are caring. I have tasted the food made for my wife and it is delicious. They make sure there are always 3 babies to one nurses, and the nurses are skillful and caring. The housekeeper always make sure my wife will have her herbal bath and the bed sheets are always clean Definitely will refer my friends and family under the care of hugs team

It is a relaxing, fun, wonderful & a tummyful 28 days of confinement that I had. I love the concept of the center with that comes with weekly artcraft and most important CPR & choking classes which is definitely important for us who might need it one day. The food is really nice & a thoughtful meal plan for mommies to avoid constipation issue or problem with not enough milk supply. - Thank you Chef My room is always clean & fresh. The housekeeper who deliver my food, red date juice & herbal bath is very friendly too. They will make sure we drink enough red date juice to ensure enough fluid for our body. - Thank you Housekeeper Most important one that gives me a relief mind is the nursery team!!! With their help to look after my baby, i have a good night sleep. And they taught me alot on how to handle the baby. - Thank you x 10 times for the Nurses And the rest of the Hug care team who prepare the classes for us, mommies. I Love the additional mile stone that you do for us. - Thank you Hug care team I would highly recommend this place to my friends! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Time flies~ tomorrow is my last day at HUG, I had a pleasant and enjoyable 28-day stay here. Check in Our check in here on the first day was nicely arranged and warm-welcomed by the customer service staff at the front desk. All of our luggage had been sanitised and sent directly to our room, it was just like checking into a hotel?. The CS guide us to the room and brief us clearly regarding to the SOP and patiently answer all our question during the section. Foods Food is utmost important for postnatal recovery other than rest, I’m glad that HUG provided balanced and nutritious meal without compromising taste and look. The food provided here is made with the raw ingredients and without preservative instead of processed food which is very healthy. They do have a cafe area which allow you to dine in but due to the pandemic, the cafe was temporary closed to reducing the risk of spreading virus. Lactationist A BIG thanks to the Lactationist aka nurse head-Yee Ling for all the guidance during this point of time. She has helped me to identify problems regarding breastfeeding, guided me and showed me the techniques and postures related to breastfeeding. She is very knowledgeable , helpful and friendly, love to listen to her sharing on own experience of being a mommy and how she handle her baby. My breast milk start from drops to impressive amount which I never think of during my pregnancy period. She is not only good at lactation but at the same time she solve a lot of our queries during this confinement period. Nursery / Housekeeper All of the nursery staff are friendly and professionally trained, they are very attentive and responsive on our request and taking good care of our baby. Thus, giving us piece of mind knowing that our baby is in good hands. HUG really put an afford to preventing virus by enhancing their SOP to ensure everyone’s safety, all nurses here is on PPE gown, KF94 face mask, face shield, and headcover all the time to protect all of the babies. We really feel safe during the stay. Housekeeping is provided daily to ensure the room is clean and tidy all time, we are given chance to control the housekeeping timing, request for essential item and select housekeeping service that you want by submitting housekeeping request via e-form everyday. Security / Safety The building is surrounded with CCTV and we only able to access to the building and room with access card/password. During this pandemic we are not allowed to go out from the premise except for doctor appointment and any urgency, this is to keep everyone safe which I’m totally agree. Apps I love the baby monitoring apps introduced by HUG, it allowed us to monitor the daily routine of our baby such as dietary intake, diaper changing, poo poo condition, body temperature, baby’s weight and etc. Also, CCTV on top of the baby cot allowed you to see your baby 24 hours through another apps. Activities / Classes Due to pandemic, all of the classes has been changed to online class instead of face to face. Even though it’s online classes but the tutor Chloe did a very great job on the PPT presentation and the way she teach is easy to understand. Activities has been changed to 1 to 1 and it’s fun too! I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to HUG Management, every Nurse and Staffs. 21/9 William, Kershing, Baby Herman Signing off❀️

Overall my stay at Hug was average. Nursery team was the only thing that im satisfied. They do follow up mummy condition, baby was well taken care by them and they are attentive to every of my request. Nurses are friendly and ready to help. Nurse Ika is experienced and Nurse Rahmah is lovely to my baby and my son. Other nurses are great too and i wish i know other nurses name ? I do miss the service from nursery taking care my baby in the middle of the night and i can check my baby condition through cctv apps ? and i miss their cute baby bed design, so lovely ? big kudos to nursery team ? Activity and classes were great even for me im a second child mom, i do gain new knowledge from the classes provided. It will be very useful for first time parents. Food was average to me. Sometimes food is okay but sometimes it is not ? Peach gum dessert was not well cook every time. Never put high expectation for their food. Management and cleanliness part is the main thing that i wish to highlight. Arrangement for classes sometimes did not follow to the schedule that they given to me. Suppose to have BLW class but had been postpone but nobody inform me. Room cleaning schedule was not punctual at all and they missed it every time. I have to request for the room cleaning when i found out that they miss out their schedule for my room cleaning. Understand that they might lack of general staff but this matters really have to look into it. The worse experience - I was bitten by a bug and i found it crawling at my blanket ? i’m not sure whether it is bed bug but this incident should not be happen in a confinement centre. 3 stars rating from me, stars are all to the nursery team ?

The only good thing is their nursery service. All the nurse are experienced and care for baby and will teach mummy how to take care. Bottle, formula, baby products and milk storage bag are provided with good quality. They will help wash and sanitise your pump bottle every time and deliver to your room. They does not have the jaundice device to detect baby jaundice level and does not have the jaundice lamp, so you need to return to hospital to find out. SPA: the massager lady is very experienced in urut on tummy and she will wash and blow your hair gently. Satisfied with this service. Lactation consultant and service are very sales oriented instead of providing guidance and advice. If you have engorged, they will ask you to sign for package which cost you up to RM200 to RM800 instead of advice you how to solve the engorgement. Suggest look for other consultant advice outside or in fb forum which is free and helpful. Food: Average. Less wine and ginger taste. 4 meals a day, no supper provided. Tea time sometime without food only soup, not full enough. The reddates and hotwater warmer bottles sometimes are dirty. Room: All room are very small and no TV provided. some room even no window. Very stuffy. Mummy could not release their emotions and will feel emo staying in this small room without window and without TV entertainment. Quite hard to pass the 28 days stay in the stuffy room. Toilet is small and always stucked water, quite disgusting. The herb bath bottles are dirty like thousand years never wash, plus the cap always stucked cannot open due to the dirt. Bed sheet are sometime dirty even after changed. Nursing pillow did not provided in every mummy room and mummy need to bring own pillow or make purchase from the centre at price RM90+ eventhough this is basic necessity for every mummy here. They will not clear your room garbage everyday, unless you yourself packed the garbage and leave it outside your room. Also no sanitisation service in your room. Housekeeping: scheduled Housekeeping every 3 days but they always not punctual. They onyl came after your call. Overall the room are dusty they did not clean every corner, only upon request. Bedsheet and pillow sheet and quilt wil only change upon request, else they wont bother to change in your whole month stay. Only 1 set pajamas provided daily, hence u cant bath 2 times a day. And the pajamas are very worn out already and shared with other mummy, so u wil receive different sizes of pajamas everytime. Sometime certain piece of pajamas are come with stingy body smell from previous user but you can change it as there is no extra set provided. The bar at lounge area also dirty, they did not clean the area everyday. Sometime the drink supply finished and no furbish back. Photo shooting: The photo shooting service did not provide to all room mummy due to different packages and promotion. Activities and Class: satisfied with the class and activities conducted by Ms chloe, she is a friendly and nice instructor who willing to share knowledge and experience and the activities are fun.

First and last very bad experience! 2021 On the tenth day of the confinement period, I was forced to choose to leave because nursery was diagnosed. Of course, they also wrote the refund in black and white, but there is still a balance that has not been received and has been delayed again and again. Cleanliness part is the thing that I wish to highlight. The toilet is easily blocked with water, the sheets and duvet covers are dirty, and a younger nurse even held a wrong baby because my baby was already resting in the room at that time. Of course, there are nurses are friendly and ready to help. Food was average for me. Sometimes is okay but sometimes it's not

Nursery is good and friendly, very responsive to parents request and always teaching new parents how to handle baby. As a first time parents, nursery did a good job in teaching us everything step by step in a very detailed way. Admin side need improvement, if remember correctly only 1 admin and 2 general staffs handling all rooms housekeeping, schedule, food delivery, laundry. Heavily lack of manpower. Activities arranged for mommy cancelled without informing, parents waited for half hour and only been informed that class cancelled until we asked. This is just one of the example of their bad administrative work, there are a lot of other small issues which indirectly affect mommy mood and time. While for baby care they did a good job in taking care baby and guiding parents. Overall, not a bad experience but definitely will reconsider to revisit for next child.
