★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owners speak fair English and Mandarin and friendly. We could not decide what to order as there 3 choices of soup to choose from and each is accompanied by a few ingredients however you could add more via order the ala-carte menu. We were thinking to order the mix soup (2 different soups in a pot) and the owner was kind enough to let us know that the ingredients might be too much of a portion for the 3 of us. We end up with the traditional soup base which have a strong fish taste like a rich fish soup broth and (those who dislike fish might want to avoid this). I'm not a big fan of fish and initially I don't quite like it but as we add more side ingredients which we ordered extra the soup got more sweeter as it absorbs all flavours from the ingredients. We paid RM55 per set for the soup base we ordered accompanied but the ingredients are fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really happy with the yummy dinner here! The steamboat ingredients are fresh and the sour and spicy soup is refreshing, blended well with fried fish slices! The service is great and very satisfied, worth for the money, highly recommended to family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend spoke highly about this steamboat shop. My family and I decided to give it a try. It is a comfortable place and I have to admit the food was really good.
I personally feel that the lady who work there has no interest to engage with customers. Clearly she lacks the basic sense of manners and kindness. Example, we need to refill our chilies for and we call her for service, she was busy with her hp and point to the standing cabinet. We understood it as self service. Customer being charged 6% and we had to self service especially when it is not crowded.
At times, she acts as though we were disturbing her time with her phone.
I trust that you will speak to her about polite customer service. Customers are not an annoyance, we are the ones who pay her salary.
Thumbs up to the gentleman who took the orders. He is a good example of a service crew.
Nothing to complaint about food! Real good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check with them can we have special seafood on that day.Owner give us few fresh seafood to choose and cook accordingly our request.Of cos with extra charges...but the price still reasonable and the seafood really fresh.Owner very friendly.Will visit again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially we wanted to go to the steamboat next door but they were closed so we took the opportunity to have a first try for 火炭王 and...... Their tomyam is so good! Totally have my tomyam cravings fixed! As you see, we ordered 鸳鸯 yuan yang steamboat. I'm totally fine and loving the tomyam but according to my dad, he had the fish soup and he felt the thirst after the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are few steamboat restaurants along Nagore Road and Huo Tang Wang is specialized in its charcoal steamboat with its Sour and Spicy soup worth dying for. Recommending grouper fish fillet deep fried to fragrant as an add-on.
