Nice tasting bowl of HKM. Soup is nice and full of flavor. Just hope they maintain it and not add msg like so many other places.

Just opened. Formerly from Butterworth, the Hokkien mee is pretty good. Chilli and fresh garlic add flavours to the soup. The small prawns are fresh and not sliced into thin layers. Environment simple, nice and staffs probably family members are friendly. Overall should try.

The hokkien mee or prawn was ok. Nothing spectacular. The lunch set is a good deal

The broth is nice if you add the chili paste even better. Another must try hokkien mee in Penang. Just hope that they add little more prawns. Too little I guess. Kopi ice is nice too. Definitely will support again.

Prawn mee broth was to mild at first taste but if added with chili, it live up all. Super set with roast pork and extra prawn. Roast pork was especially tasty. 4 stars Another prawn mee set with pork rib and pork skin also good. But its pork skin not my liking. 3 stars

it's a must eat for me whenever in Penang. I find no other places offer the same quality of prawn mee or hokkien mee as Penang. Even any kopitiam could simply beat the best prawn mee in KL. no doubt this Aunty Choon too. the soup base was really cooked with full ingredients that tasted so good. I added the pork ribs and siobak and both didn't spoil the taste of the original hokkien mee. it may not the best in Penang, but certainly it's one of the best.

Ordered set 1 @ $16.00 with beverage. Sauteed prawns are way better than boiled prawns for HKM. A big no no are the large meatballs which definitely doesn't go well with the soup. Soup is clear adding chilly, still lack aroma and savory taste of Kochabi. Much room to improve. Cleanliness adds 1 point. A fair review from this Hokkien Mee Fan.... 6/10 overall
