β β β β β As a fuzzy eater from Singapore, this place was one of the best indian food i have ate.
From observation, looks like family mechanised restaurant, which does not discount on home cook taste and passion for what their existence as a restauraner has been manifested. Gastro treat, and worth mentioning that their roti canai (prata) was one which will be in my positive side of memory till it gets tainted with something better.
Thanks to all who made my palate and overall experience merry.

The quality of the food is good but the prices are on the high side.
P. D. H. does not offer the best ratio value for money among Ipoh Mamak...

β β β β β Ordered rice with 5 pcs of cut-chicken and 2 side vege. Also gave me 2 pieces of papadam. Paid RM17 for the whole meal. Very pricey considering it is like any other Indian restaurant. Won't be going anymore.

β β β β β I would have given an excellent rating as the food was quite tasty. However for 3 meals without drinks, the bill was RM60. When we asked the breakdown of the prices, they charged 25 for the mutton alone.
Although prices of things have gone up, 25 for mutton for 1 person is crazy.

β β β β β A typical Indian restaurant serving Indian food. The spread is extensive with vegetables, meat, poultry and desserts. The even fry fresh chicken that you order from the selection.
The restaurant ambience is good, clean, air conditioned and waiters are friendly. Their dessert specialty is the coconut roll which are prepared fresh. Price is a bit high overall but you get what you pay. The quality of food is good and you will be well fed with their generous portions.

β β β β β One of my favourite lunch spots in Ipoh on weekdays. They have a variety of non-vege and vege options. And the dishes have a home-cooked touch. For vegetarians the options are quite a number including leafy vegetables.
