You should better book your ticket at the Harbour where you have to go anyway. The staff lied to us telling us we have to book one place before going to Tioman because of the high season (there are always places during the week and you still can find something the weekend as well- at least on ABC Beach which is the best to stay). They simulated a call to Tioman saying there was no more rooms available but nicely said they will do their best to find one, we were up for dorms and they have their places available in Johan's chalet. The place is dirty(cat pee, mouse poo in the bed) and the people not nice at all. No wifi as well, just at the exterior in a place where you can barely sit). We met other tourists who had the same experience ... Don't do the same mistake :/ there are cheaper and much better places there :)
Reservez votre ticket au centre maritime sur le port. Le staff va vous paraître adorable et très aidant (pas forcément vu comment la personne a côté de nous se faisait traiter) . Les prix du ferry sont honnêtes cependant ils vont essayer de vous arnaquer en vous forçant la main pour réserver une chambre sur place. On a refusé mais ils nous ont dit que c'était nécessaire en haute saison, ils ont appelé leur contact sur place qui a dit qu'il ne restait plus que deux lits en dortoir pour les prix que nous souhaitions. Et on a voulu prendre une nuit seulement mais encore une fois, 2 nuits minimum.... Bref, on arrive sur place, le personnel etait loin d'étre aimable pas de wifi dans le chalet mais à l'extérieur et le dortoir était dégueulasse, les draps marrons, ça sentait le pipi de chat et il y avait des crottes de souris dans le lit... Ne réservez pas à Johan 's chalet... On a rencontré d'autres personnes qui ont eu le même problème... Néanmoins l' ABC Beach est un super endroit pour s'arrêter, c'est merveilleux alors profitez bien ;) Il y a des chalets pour 40 ringgit et bien plus propre et moins cher que Johan's Chalet.

Reserve your ticket at the maritime center on the port. The staff will seem adorable and very helpful (not necessarily given how the person next to us was treated). The ferry prices are fair however they will try to rip you off by forcing your hand to book a room on site. We refused but they told us that it was necessary in high season, they called their contact on site who said that there were only two beds left in the dormitory for the prices we wanted. And we wanted to take a night only but again, 2 nights minimum .... In short, we arrive on site, the staff was far from being pleasant no wifi in the chalet but outside and the dormitory was disgusting, brown sheets, it smelled like cat pee and there were mouse droppings in the bed ... Do not book at Johan 's chalet ... We met other people who had the same problem ... Nevertheless ABC Beach is a great place to stop, it's wonderful so enjoy yourself;) There are chalets for 40 ringgit and much cleaner and cheaper than Johan's Chalet.
