★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shop here if you find it too troublesome to go anywhere else, but be minded that some items are priced higher than the competitors (whom are very far away).
On the plus side, great place for window shopping because they carry selections not available anywhere else in Johor Bahru like angus beef from Australia, real vanilla extract with seeds, and you might end up buying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jaya Grocer is a far cry from its grand opening almost five/six years back. But it maintains its neatness, cleanliness, freshness and the provision of plastic bags seven days a week for its patrons.
If you are looking for hard-to-come-by imported food/snacks/beverages/cleaning fluids, this is the place to go.
Drop by their wine & non-halal section and you can procure some very nice ham, sausages and imported wines/beers/spirits that might not be found elsewhere.

Good selection of local and foreign items on sale here. The store is neat, clean and easy to explore although the aisle are quite narrow. The price is slightly on the upper end especially with the imported items. But if you want variety and quality, you can usually find it here.
