★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meals are fantastic! I can definitely say the quality of the food comes from a very highly skilled chef!
I was very welcomed in by everyone when I stepped into their tinted up front door. Ambiance wise, I loved sitting right in front of the kitchen to see them cook my food!
The dessert is so good, that I had to get another one for my girlfriend because I finished all of it!
I highly recommend everyone to come in and try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 05 Nov 2020. First time visited this restaurant with my love one for lunch. We ordered one ramen and one chicken. Ramen soup base is OK and the egg got some wine taste according to my love one but noddle slightly springy. If the chicken marinated more will be perfect. As the chicken served in a bowl so to cut with a knife a bit awkward, flat plate will be nice. Cold brew coffee taste good with the nice bottling bring back some memory. Environment is nice.

Kioku menu is created in the influence of degustation & omakase .
the menu up itself up to14 dishes.
For the dining exprience of the day, non of the ingredient haven’t been repeated in all those dishes from sea to land.
Love the dining exprience n the preparation behind the kitchen. Especially the foie grais dishes (won’t post it and keep it secretly)
Once again thank you chef Shawn shum and the team for this amazing dining exprience of the night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a birthday lunch. The sea bass was divine, though I think different veggies would complement the fish a bit better. We also ordered the unagi rice bowl, which was great considering the location and price. If you’re here with kids, the french fries were tasty, too! The in-house desserts (left: grapefruit and honey mousse right: hojicha mouse with a chocolate shell) were absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend them, though they needed to be preordered. As for the service, the staff members were polite, pleasant, and served us well. The place has a wonderful ambiance and is perfect for a lunch/dinner date. The lunch price was RM165 for 2 entrees, an appetizer, a cappuccino, and two desserts, which we found extremely reasonable given the quality of the food.

Johor Bahru IWA's AGM meeting after the first lockdown in Malaysia. We were so happy that time to be able to go out again. We enjoyed the chat, food, and the ambience of the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there for dinner, love the atmosphere, presentation and their food. This is one of the top fine dining restaurant I have tried in Johor Bahru so far.
Highly recommended and I’m sure I’ll pay another visit to try of the remaining menu soon!
