Plan your time, transport & accommodation in advance..have carpark, close to supermarket, hotel, resorts & homestay.. overnight at nearby resort in Rompin or Penyabung is advisable..Own drive is advisable..
G	Ganesh Kumar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can take a ferry to Tioman from here. Overnight parking is available. Can buy 1 way or return ferry ticket. Need to provide IC to purchase the ferry ticket. This place is nearer for people from north, east coast or west coast compared to Mersing.
L	Lennox Cheok on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 13 adults and 5 kids and 2 babies arrived on Hari Raya 6:30am. The jetty is clean, the car park operator is kind and professional. The officer and ship crew were all kind and friendly. We greet "selamat Hari Raya" :) The toilet is very clean, and this is certainly a lot family friendly than Mersing.
J	Jonathan Foo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plenty of car park here over the place is very clean however counter stuff at the Bistari Germilang is always asking for the (booking number which is in the email) and they maybe in patience with foreigners cause they don’t understand Bahasa Melayu, the ferry here is good and clean (please follow seat number on the ticket. Well organised too. Not too sure about the journey on the sea yet.

Return ticket RM70 with Bluewater Express...it took around 90 mnt to 120mnt...the ticket got seat no..so no worries not having place to seat... . Toilet very clean n jetty just small but very convenient..got a lot of seat n small shop if u wanna buy things...staff also so nice..kind n friendly...
M	Muh Amad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I HV bad experiences with WAWASAN 2. Ferry Departure 11.00am from Jetty Terminal Tg Gading and reach Tekek jetty 3hr 45minute. Stupid Capten brought Tekek passengers round all island jetty and make Tekek is last stop. This is really wasted as Tekek jetty is located at centre of tioman Island. We thought choose early trip is better but take almost 4 hour reach Tekek jetty. Captain should think wisely not selfish. Poor thinker captain.

I arrived 10:45 and it was considered “late “ although no one even boarded yet. I had to pay extra 100 and mind u the ferry itself costs rm200 for 2 person . Burnt my ticket. Coming back was the worse because the jetty says 9 am ferry and 2:30pm the two specific time that the ferry would arrive and pick up people . I waited since 8 am and no ferry! Till 2:30 pm i waited and the ferry only arrived at 3 pm. Late! Which made me miss my bus and had to get a hotel at this area and a new bus ticket. Pls take note that the ferry ride takes 1 and a half hour or 2 hours ( just to be safe) The jetty people and management dont care about you or even try to help anyone facing issues they just want to make profit

Because the ferry will stop at several jetties. 1st- Kampung Genting 2nd- Kampung Paya 3rd- Kampung Tekek 4th- Kampung Air Batang 5th- Kampung Salang Kampung Tekek is the centre or capital area for Tioman Island. If your area is not listed above, most likely you're going to disembark at Kampung Tekek and take 4 wheel drive to your area. This chronological order is important so that you know what to expect when your jetty is next. Unfortunately the ferry assistant is not telling you about this info. Most passengers are surprised when ferry arrived at their jetty. Hope this helps
