This is actually not scone but just baked pastry with filling. Tried several of their pastries. In overall, filling is a lot, taste and texture is really average. Black pepper beef is kinda dry and taste bland; chicken & shrimp has 3 tiny shrimps but overbaked, texture of both chicken & shrimp don't taste suitable together; New Orleans chicken taste good. Their slogan of ้ฆ™้…ฅ่„† (fragrant & crispy) pastries skin doesn't seems fitting. The baked pastry is hot when being served, after letting it cool down for about 5 minutes, the skin don't have any fragrance and not crispy. Any average siew bao and Chinese puffs in Malaysia are crispy even after 3 days. The average price of each baked pastry is RM8.8/9.8, probably more worthy to buy 2/3 pieces of siew bao with tasty filling and crispier skin. Location is just outside Lot 10 Hutong, easily accessible if you are not fulling after meal. Atmosphere is quite good except the place is a little small, limited seats and can be noisy. Staff is okay but would be better to show some smile and more welcoming

I paid about RM9 for one scone and it was greatly disappointing. The pastry was hard and crusted, NOT crispy or crumbly (it felt like it had been reheated more than once). The few chicken pieces were still pinkish and instead of providing clarification, the young man attending to the store said its all like that and suggested exchanging it with another one (from the same batch), which I declined. I suspect either this outlet is not getting it right or the dough formulation from China needs tweaking. Not a good experience. I wasn't given a receipt. Good thing I bought the swarma sandwich as well from the reliable Syrian shop (Damascus) in front of the main entrance of Sungei Wang Plaza which helped make up for it.

The shop is located opposite of the Machi Machi nearby Lot 10 Shopping Mall. Overall the food was so so only and quite pricey. The customer service was good. As shown in the picture, the Hot and Spicy Rice Noodles was so oily. All you can find in the bowl is only rice noodles, some veggies, two fish balls and oil. The food is not worth for the price. On the other hand, the Shrimp and Chicken Thigh Scones was average. The pastry was thick but crispy and the fillings was tasted average. Not much fillings in the scones.

Order the sour and spicy noodles but its not of my liking. Too oily for me. Will try the scones next time. The cashier is welcoming and polite.

Place is fairly small, staff should be more friendlier and welcoming. Had the sichuan mala scones and it was yummy as it was served hot/fresh and the flavour has a hint of mala but it wasnโ€™t very spicy to me.
