โ โ โ โ โ The macau pork chop bun is tender and juicy. It cost 13 ringgit.

โ โ โ โ โ Itโs a big share which is always welcoming for hungry people. Pity that the meat wasnโt marinated well enough. Noodles is nice but no much taste, just dark sauce which is very disappointing. Appearance is weak. Added the Lemon Honey water... well itโs not worth mentioning. Just pass over if you have other choices.

โ โ โ โ โ For the price, it is really value for money. One will get a huge slab of Marinated pork, a fried egg and a bowl of curry to go with rice. They have a noodle variant too, which I will try the next time. Give it a try when in the area. Hutong can use the support during this covid period.

โ โ โ โ โ Ridiculous service, paid RM15 to get pork chop rice with PAPER PLATE! Even I went to mamak order Roti Canai cost me RM2 also can get a plastic plate with it. Donโt understand why they donโt serve customer normal plate since they have these as image shown.

โ โ โ โ โ I should order pork chop rice with fried egg. Only Rm$1 different make a huge different. Take-out pork chop bun already costs Rm$13.90+ Literally nothing included, not even sauce or veggie, just a block of marinated pork chop. The bun hard like rock when get cold ( not advisable to take-out pork chop bun, eat-in is better - warm and you can demand sauce from them.)

โ โ โ โ โ Porco pork chop bun outlet in Lot 10 basement is suppose to be the one and only representative of the famous pork chop bun of macau fondly known as "Tai Lei Loi Kei". (Found in Coloane area across the macau main peninsular).
I ordered two pork chop buns ala carte to takeaway.
1. The pork chop is dry, unlike the actual macau ones which are very juicy.
2. The buns are also dry, unlike macau's mini french loaves which are crispy and the skin crunchy.
3. The flavor is heavier than usual - msg is detected whilst the macau ones are pure meat umami.
Still, as long as you cannot go to Macau to savor the real thing, i suppose this will do.
Remember that in Macau, there are dozens of outlets selling pork chop buns but remember Anthony Bourdain's adventure there - there is but only ONE authentic master of the pork chop bun - "Tai Lei Loi Kei".
