β β β β β Many customers and the staffs are very busy. Maybe because of this, staff not very friendly. The Swiss roll price not the same as the listed price, bought one mini mix flavor (the one with chocolate vanilla coffee). Price listed RM 11 but cashier charge me RM13. The staff busy serving other customer i don't even has a chance to ask about why is it diff price. :(

β β β β β Most popular swiss roll in Ipoh! Wide variety and lots of option to choose from, their signature is durian swiss roll and cempedak swiss roll. Only the fruit swiss roll has jelly within it. Texture is very soft tender, but no real fruit inside. Best to consume within 3 days in chiller fridge.

β β β β β Had bad experience when I went to buy a birthday cake this morning. In fact regretted buying from them. They're not the only cake shop in town. I went there just because it's convenient when I pass by.
I know your business is good, but it doesn't mean you can be rude to your customer. Customer is the purpose of having you, ok?
The staffs made me feel like I'm wasting their time for telling them what flavour of birthday cake I'm looking for (The lady never give me chance to talk)
Then after I decided to buy the icecream cake (within 1 minute), I asked to write "Happy Birthday" on the cake (which cost RM68), the staff gave me a ? stare...
Then I told them if writing the words so difficult for you, just give me a plastic "Happy birthday" stand like most cake shop did. The old man then urged me... "so do you want to write or don't want? If want to write I'll bring in to write now"... I was stunt and felt that am I really wasting your time for such simple request? And the total time I spent to decide the cake and make payment is just less than 3 min...
JJ Roll, does a customer deserve such service by spending at your shop??

β β β β β Visited this cake shop when I was in Ipoh Dec 2020. It specialized in swiss roll and have the most widest selection of swiss roll I have seen. It has various flavour that you can choose from. All the swiss roll are kept in the refrigerator to maintain its freshness. Worth to try and you will be spoilt for choices. They sell other type of baked cakes, cheese cakes, layer cakes , etc as well. Located in a busy commercial area, parking might be slightly difficult.

β β β β β swiss rolls overload!! you will be spoilt with varieties of flavors. The cake texture is silky smooth and not too sweet, perfect for me who don't like sweet and cake with lots cream. this is one of the shops that I must visit whenever I visit Ipoh. Price is RM13 per box for mixed flavor and will be up by RM2 in 2022.
