β β β β β This unassuming cafe with good service is a hidden gem, with arguably the best apple pie in the city. I've always said KL bakeries are deathly afraid of using lemon - not Jo, who keeps his apple filling juicy and tart with a caramelised sweetness that is comforting but also exiting due to its slight acidity. The apple filing is very generous, perfectly spiced and the apple pieces are oozing, yet retains texture and bite. I would give much to be living five minutes away, but alas I don't, so apple pies must be ordered in multiples because everyone fights over them. Must try to know how good it really is. I also tried the chicken biryani with Middle Eastern salad which was very generously portioned.. in fact it kept me for 2 meals. Highly recommended, do support, and I see they have started catering at the side as well. Best of luck and never compromise on that lemon! ?

β β β β β My usual spot for a quick homey meal. Come here for lunch once a week. Highly recommended for those who live around Bangsar South looking for an affordable meal. They got economy rice and also a long menu for order. My favourite is their USA Fried Rice (without Chilli!)

β β β β β A no fuss place where you can order rice and dishes for lunch and dinner. Or you can order pies or a western meal. Staff is super friendly. Food is pretty good. The place can get a tad hectic if they are preparing food for takeout. They have indoors and outdoors seating (nice garden setting). They even have a mart here -- so pretty convenient to grab groceries, esp for residents at Pantai Panaroma Condominiums, which is where the cafe is situated
