★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How the restaurant call Asam Pedas and only have 3 Asam Pedas Menu?? They only have Ikan Merah, Ikan Pari and Ikan Kembung, No Tetel, No Ikan Parang, No Ikan Tenggiri.. Base on taste of Asam Pedas for me is 3/5... Concept pay before eat not suitable for me coz large crowd and space quite narrow and table limited... Btw, parking also very limited..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the assam pedas here. As a Johorean I can find most of the dishes I grew up with at this resto. But how I wish they serve the fried traditional daun wrapped tempe marinated with tumeric here. Reasonably priced dishes.

It is honest to goodness homecooked Malay fare from Johor ie Asam Pedas - three types of fishes - ikan, pari, kembong and jenahak i think excluding the ikan merah fish head . Its so good that i visited it 3 days running. The vegies dishes are aplenty, fresh and all crunchy stll. No soggy, sodden food as the dishes are prepared n cooked daily, nothing is carried forward. Tantalising array thats sure to make your mouth water. And guess what, its gentle on the pocket too. Yums!
