★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eleven of us arrived late around midnight at Laman Ejo. We use the hostel. Were worried that we might arrive very late because it was raining heavily on the drive from Kelantan and Terengganu. The owner Mr Md Nor was kind enough to assure us not to worry about arriving late and reminded us not to rush and be safe. When we msg him to tell that we were nearing Kuala Pilah, he suggested that we stop for meals first because he would be unable to prepare meals for us (not his fault).
We arrived at a beautifully lit place - Mr Md Nor lit up all his oil lanterns from the parking lot to the hostel and the other building. The place was full of flowers and herbs. The air was full of flower fragrances. Mr Md Nor took the time to explain about his garden to us and how he built the place by himself.
The hostel had lots of double decks beds, many joined together. Fully air-conditioned. So after a dull day cramped in our cars we enjoyed a really comfortable sleep. There were three adjoining bathrooms, so no waiting for turns.
The place was so relaxing that night and Mr Md Nor genuinely made us felt welcomed. Many of us stayed up talking with him.
Highly recommended. We paid only RM250 if I remember correctly.
